Yeah, volume is the worst way to write recipes.

When rice goes bad, it goes really bad. I married a white girl, but when I lived with my family, I never saw rice go bad bc we ate it all very quickly. We can leave it out and it's fine, but you have to eat it fairly quickly. If it's been more than 12 hours, stick your finger in the bottom of the rice. If it is even the slightest bit slimy, throw it out. Don't take a chance on it. I also suspect that there is some natural tolerance that we build up to the bacteria that does grow. When eating something with rice that you didn't cook, rice pudding is dangerous bc you can't tell if it was slimy. Frying slimy old rice can't cover up the flavor or slime, so you'll know it isn't good.

It's illegal for YouTubers to hide sponsorships

Ah, yes, the wife-scream. "You're gonna start a fire!" That's what she says, but sometimes you've gotta set your kitchen kn fire for the good meats

I used to ferment apple cider when I was a teenager, too! It was absolutely amazing! As long as it tastes like liquor, it is safe enough to drink.

We did duck once and it was fantastic. I'd just swap out turkey for duck and it'd be decent. Do the duck however you wish.

I'm Filipino. My mother and I leave food on the counter for days. I think one thing that makes this possible is that all of the food is, essentially, preserved in some way. It is either extremely salty, sweet, sour, or overcooked. That's just how it comes. All of these reduce microbial growth.

@trevorreid9142 Just, like, get an electric burner and a pot. Then expirament. Try things that sound terrible. Good cooks get good by making a lot of bad good. Shokugeki no Soma should be your guide to learning how to cook

Your comment about people who join the military was very offensive. Not all of us are like that. I didn't think that you, of all people, would generalize an entire group like that. You owe us an apology.

I like to eat the skin

Turkey is kinda meh. I think that using beef or pork would make a better meal.
1
@ariwang8613 yeah, but who has the time.

Oh my God this is too much work

I never thought you would be sponsored by WoW. I can't imagine you knowing what is and isn't historically accurate.
1
Gotta give you props for how truly seamless yet jarring your sponsor bits are. Like, I thought it was weird you were talking about your knife, but then...oh, I see. Haha

Some cultures only used black, white, and red.
1
Haha, yeah. White people problems.

As an American who's been in the process of converting everything to metric over the last decade, I know what you mean.

Lime-cucumber Gatorade is my favorite thing.

It's like sea-chicken. Idk, it tastes like a lizard. An aquatic lizard. They're not like fishy at all bc their food isn't from the sea. They're chicken with flavor? It's slightly more salty than a chicken, for sure. I prefer it to chicken bc it is like a chicken with flavor. Not like a duck or turkey, but there is some gaminess to it. The texture is closer to pork than chicken, though.

The definition of cider is changing, I think.

American white cuisine is absolute garbage. European cuisines—not you, England—is fairly flavorful.

Does "bland" mean "dry?"

I am also not a fan of rice in the refrigerator.

The aliens will think we're very odd for drinking poison, I wager.

Yo, so blue in nature is almost always structural blue. Blue pigment is exceedingly rare.

Okay, you've convinced me to try it

I think the flavor is way too strong.

This is a very unique video. I had no idea what to expect, but you did not disappoint.

I wish I could transport a poor person from 17th Century England to the modern day and feed them a DQP with cheese, a large Coke, and fries; I'm pretty sure their head would explode from the sheer audacity of modern flavor.

Not surprised that the anthropologist believes that cooking influenced our social evolution more than biological evolution

I heard a hippy reinvent high fructose corn syrup and call it "vegan corn honey." Goddamn hippies reinventing shit. Just like vaccines.
