I choose option D: artillery.
2
Right, right, but those 227 Challengers explicitly built to deter Russian aggression.
2
Why would you want to slow down Strykers?
2
So kinda like the 249, I guess.
2
Carrying it to the fight.
2
Bruh, you got sponsored by NFCU? That is awesome! I love them!
2
I love your self-deprecating humor. Marines are definitely some of the dumbest people I've ever worked with, but we laugh about it with you guys.
2
Yes, chicken tikka masala should be an MRE.
2
As a POG who spent most of his time on the West Coast, I love the idea of riding this through Yuma and 29. However, there's no fucking way I'd go anywhere near a tree branch in this thing.
2
@shaider1982 Cavalry tank (singular).
2
Are GPMGs not the most fun!? I love them!
2
@samsonsoturian6013 This is also why private companies don't run their own militaries...except the East India Company, but other than th, no corporation has ever been able to wage war on a state level
2
It sounds terrible
2
@TaskSwitcherify Are you disabled? Think through what you just said and get back to me.
2
A loitering munition would do the job better.
2
@dynamicascension981 That doesn't make his ideas true, though. He is a rigid geographic determinist and his bias towards "America number one" was a business decision. He has very good supporting arguments for his thesis, but he chooses to ignore cultural factors because he is out of touch and that's not his area of expertise.
2
50k for a 6-year enlistment? Fuck that. Size years is entirely too many.
2
Eh, S4 is what changes maps. Logistics people win wars. Infantry win battles.
2
I remember when invading Mexico was just a HoI4 meme. All this is going to do is kill innocent Mexicans. Like, you'd think we learned our lesson in Afghanistan, but no, we're gonna do it all over again.
2
@blackhatch46 no; it's imprecise because guidance kits are expensive. Greater accuracy means fewer rounds need to be fired to kill the target, which effectively increases barrel life per fire mission. There are times when suppressing a grid square is the intended effect, but the US hasn't needed that capability more than its needed pinpoint accuracy.
2
The Puma is a very good piece of kit. It's clearly better than the Bradley. Best of all, it already works. Time will tell if it can compare with the CV90, but the CV90 also comes in 120mm cannon and dual 120mm mortar configurations. Shit, our Bradleys are so outdated. We need something new
2
Anything that can survive a 155 barrage and keep going is an asset to Ukraine because Russia's operational center of gravity is their artillery. If they can't suppress a unit, then that unit can do whatever the hell it wants to every Russian formation it encounters until a helicopter or airplane shows up.
1
How is this not an APC!? Please do a video
1
Yeah, we're gonna do Gen6 soon, so let's keep that money for that.
1
Please work on your pronunciation.
1
Goddamnit, Cappy, this is going to be our next Afghanistan, isn't it.
1
If we're planning on 2027, then the upgrades will take too long no matter what, so best to put that money into the NGAD.
1
So we've really invaded Mexico, huh?
1
So they'll split squads between 2 vehicles, with each squad using 1½–1⅓ vehicles? Nah, should either do 12 or 6.
1
@MPdude237 those vehicles remain fast by having no armor. Thats not what the US wants
1
It probably would've been a lot like this. I don't think any war has been as covered by every form of media as this one.
1
Hey, shout-out to 3rd LAAD with the Stingers!
1
Wait, helicopters don't have fly by wire, yet!?
1
I did not know that about TOWS not working on forests or water.
1
Congrats
1
I love your goat guns ads
1
You got the look in your eyes for a bit, man.
1
Yep. They've been preparing for a war with one opponent for many decades, now. Even if they don't have experience, they will after the first few months. Recall that when we went into WW2, we were the greenest boots around, but we closed that gap very quickly.
1
@theimmortal4718 For the first fire shots, maybe, but over the course of an hour, the machine always wins. Men cannot compete with the robot. Only Reformers would think otherwise
1
China works on corruption. It works in the civilians sector, but I don't think it works very well in the military.
1
Of all the countries in the world with nukes, I feel that China is the least likely to use them; that just isn't their style.
1
It's actually the sexiest rifle I've ever seen. I want to fuck it. Shame it's not perfect, but give them time. This is hardly unusual.
1
I guess they're just as experiences as us in CT, now. Big brain move
1
What people seem to miss is that the Abrams was designed to be supported by the USAF just like the Russian tanks are designed to have the support of Russian artillery.
1
The fuck you mean it can't penetrate the sides of an Abrams? Which Abrams variant? What type of ammunition?
1
The Russians aren't going to bother feeding and caring for their victims. They'll just wait for them to die and replace them with ethnic Russians.
1
Nah, Turkey probably is right to suspect the CIA. This is exactly the kind of shit we do.
1
I'm glad we're finally getting the AH-56 that the A-10 program stole from us. Fucking Reformers always fucking everything up.
1
@GH-jl2td Brown people were never the intended target; it's always been the Russians. Plus, Brown people don't have tanks, helicopters, jets, etc.
1
I have to agree. If I could do it over, I'd be a coastie privateer
