  1. 4:12 there is no statement in the Quran saying that the previous scriptures revealed by God are fully availalable, there are clear cut statement that a part of the book have been concealed and lost, and that the message has been corrupted. Jews and Christians are binding to only what the Quran confirms in their scriptures. And confirming stories from previous scriptures is not supposed to be a demonstration of qurans authoritative status, but a demonstration of it being dominant and a criterion over what jews and christians have.

Again the Quran clearly says that people of the book were entrusted to preserve the Taurat but did not carry it, and that they concealed much of it, and that they corrupted the speech (Kalam) of Allah, and wrote books with their hands and said this is from Allah...
