When the Quran talks about textual/oral corruption, it refers to the people of the book/jews/christians/children of israel as groups, not as individuals,
Same as when adressing them not to follow the desires of their forefathers, and to follow the prophet, and to follow the Quran, which takes them out of darkness into light, which is dominant over previous sctiptures...
And this is indeed all over the place, both in Quran and sunnah, explecitally, implicitly, using parables...

exodus 33 : 20
But,” he (Yah-weh) said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.”
Deuteronomy 4 : 12
the Lord (Yah-weh) spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice.
1 Timothy 1 : 17
.. immortal, invisible, the only God (monō Theō)...
1 Timothy 6 : 15-16
GOD, ... "ALONE" is IMMORTAL ..., whom NO ONE HAS SEEN OR CAN SEE...
.. and Allah spoke to Musa with words. (4 : 164)
And when Musa came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord spoke to him, he said: "O my Lord! Show me that I may look to You." Allah said: "You will not see Me, ..." (7 : 143)
"Nothing is like unto God" (42 : 11),
"visions do not encampass Him" (6 : 103),
the ever living who does not die . (25 : 58)

7 :
¹⁵⁵ And Musa chose out of his people seventy men for Our appointed time and place of meeting,
and when they were seized with a violent earthquake, he said: "O my Lord, if it had been Your Will, You could have destroyed them and me before; would You destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us (those who took the calf)?
It is only Your Trial by which You lead astray whom You will, and keep guided whom You will. You are our Wali (Protector), so forgive us and have Mercy on us, for You are the Best of those who forgive.
¹⁵⁶ He (Allah) said:
My Punishment I afflict therewith whom I will,
and My Mercy embraces all things.
For I shall destine (my mercy) for those who have piety (fear of Allah) and give charity, and those who believe in Our revelations.
¹⁵⁷ «Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet, the ummiy» (who did not read nor write any book, before Allah revealed to him the Quran _ 29 : 48 _ to warn Umm al-kura Makkah and all around it _ 6 : 92, 42 : 7 _),
«whom they find written with them in the Taurat (Deuteronomy 18 : 15..18, Isaiah 42) and the Injeel (John 1 : 19-20-21-25, John 14 : 16, John 16 : 13),» he commands them goodness, and forbids them from badness, he allows them what is lawful, and prohibits them from what is unlawful, he releases them from their heavy burdens, and from the fetters that were upon them.
«So those who believe in him (Muhammad), honour him, help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him (the Quran), it is they who will be successful.»
