@readein Well yeah that's how a lot end up overstaying and getting in trouble, but that's actually different, because those people are at least accounted for and people know they are here. It's just a matter of finding them. I was talking about undocumented immigrants who sneak in.

@Grey-Talon4198 No, Trump is ACTUALLY being smart by doing that. If people don't want to pay a high rate, they aren't going to. If the rate is more "fair" in their eyes, and compared to their income, they are much more likely to actually pay what they owe in taxes.

Maureen Davis I know there were R's in the room. The issue is how things were and are being handled. It's not okay for Schiff to tell witnesses NOT to answer certain questions. It's ALSO, not okay for Schiff to be able to AUTHORIZE Who the R's CAN and CANNOT call as witnesses. THAT IS NOT OKAY!

@mrblue770 You should look into the recent Testimony transcripts and what Schiff says "they say," and what they ACTUALLY say... I think you'll be surprised. Schiff obviously can't read!

@bacchys 🙄 They aren't trying to turn things into a charade. They just aren't going to do things when things aren't fair and just. I don't blame them. Schiff shouldn't be in charge of who answers questions (when the Republicans are asking questions), and who They also CAN & CAN'T call as witnesses. That is NOT okay at all... But again, they are the ones who are actually trying to control everything. But we'll see how things turn out in the end, and how the other investigation turns out as well!

@bacchys I'm sorry, but I simply told you that it wasn't current. Your comment made it sound like it was something from the recent IMPEACHMENT hearing. I was simply stating that it was from other a year ago. And, I'm sorry if I don't believe the whole Russia Hoax. I've been investigating all of this and researching it for years and I'm going to just wait. The Whole thing was started and paid for by Clinton. It's fishy. You can say and think what you want, but I just don't believe what they are saying. The Left have been trying to set him up, since the very beginning. I'm just going to wait until everything comes out. Things are getting more and more fishy, even now. Republicans not being able to have witnesses and questions without Schiff saying "Don't answer that," Or... The Republicans having to get there "okay" from Schiff on certain Witnesses they can and can't call? That's just weird. And now NOT being able to call the Whistlerblower? I get that you dislike Trump, but wouldn't you want to see the whistleblower take the stand and how he reacts to certain questions? How he responds? How he answers and what his physical characteristics are? This is the main person who started this all... A person who is DIRECTLY connected to Joe Biden and Brennan. Ironic? I think not! Basically, you and I believe the complete opposite and there's really nothing that either of us can say, that we change our points of view. We'll just have to wait and see how things turn out.

You obviously have no idea how much the US already pays each year for illegal immigrants... It's more than what you've quoted for the entire wall (and yes, each year). Might as well build a wall and spend that amount once, versus adding more and more illegal immigrants and extra debt that way. Plus, there will be more wall built, because of the millions of dollars the US citizens have donated in the Build The Wall GoFundMe account. Not too mention that not all off the border would have a wall anyways, due to rivers, etc.
