@wajtopaz4073
Also, I still have a DVPO (which the judge recently renewed for 5 years, versus the usual 1), from what happened to me in my adulthood. And because I know that piece of paper won't protect me, I decided to get my Concealed Carry Permit, a 9MM, an 8 camera Surveillance System for my home and property, and a seperate ADT Home Monitoring System. Some think it's too much, but I don't care... I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to protect myself and my little girl.
You obviously think that I don't have any experience in this and I'm just talking out my ass like many people do on YouTube (which is understanding), but unlike people who do that, I DO have personal experience from both childhood sexual Assault/rape, and both rape as an adult (when I was drugged with Rohypnol), and Domestic Violence. I personally didn't work through things, until many years later, when I was in my 30's, 38 weeks pregnant with my only child (a little girl). I know what it's like to try to "deal" with things, live in fear, and not get things taken care of legally.
IT SUCKS!
Being violated is the worst thing that somebody can go through. ESPECIALLY, when the person isn't EVER held accountable. That just makes things that much worse.

I'm very familiar with that case. It's EXTREMELY heartbreaking. No child (or adult for that matter), should ever have to go through rape/sexual Abuse.
And when the Perp is NOT in jail, it's TERRYFYING.
I personally believe that ALL rapists should be at least castrated, and unless it's something like statutory, where it's like a HS couple who are just a few years apart, that they should AT LEAST, be given life in prison, if not worse...
Might seem harsh to some, but I don't really care. When somebody is sexually assaulted and/or raped, the majority of people are still affected for life, even with therapy. Whether it's Psychologically, Physically, or whatever... It will still "pop-up" throughout your life.
