  22.  @davidbarr4065  What are you talking about? Of course these measures have had an impact on covid. Without them there would have been around 2m deaths by now in the US rather than "just" 400K. The measures the US has taken haven't been good enough, we could have done more and saved thousands of lives by doing so, but they were at least better than nothing.

  36.  @WildTrek  Again, most states, including ones without a union, do not have border walls. Contiguous border walls are VERY rare. Most countries you can just casually walk from one into the other, even in a town.

There are no border walls between most countries in South and Central America, none in most of Africa, none in most of Europe, none in most of Asia. That isn't to say that you're allowed to just cross unchecked, just as you aren't allowed to cross unchecked into or out of the US, it just means that there is no physical wall preventing people from doing so, and it's up to border patrols to catch anyone who attempts it illegally.

The guy who was in office during the pandemic had no idea what he was doing (not with the middle east, and not with the pandemic either). All his administration did was make a war like this almost inevitable, because he was claiming to be pursuing peace, while at the same time enabling Netanyahu's policies that were only throwing gasoline onto the fire.
