@wolveslair766 Also poor and middle class Americans who want to make America great again.
2
The Democrats passed a bill last Spring. It's still on the table. When you say "almost all of government," you're only talking about Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans that allow him to be majority leader.
2
@jarad0074 Trump has spent hundreds of times more taxpayer money for his own benefit than all previous presidents combined. He doesn't need to take a salary when the government is pumping money into his businesses. It'd be like if a restaurant is claiming that the meal is free, so long as you dump your wallets in a bin as you enter, and don't mind them buying things off Amazon with your credit cards while you eat.
2
If 50 Republicans weren't holding it up, we COULD get stuff done. Remove the Republicans, remove the problem. Balls in your court, red state voters.
2
They are mad about this Republican getting hired. They already had plenty of OTHER Republicans on their network.
2
@wisdomrules8474 If you consider them "not Republicans," then have you considered that maybe it's your own definition that is flawed?
2
@wisdomrules8474 What does "Republican" mean to you, outside of allegiance to Trump?"
2
When did anyone ever elect Hunter Biden, and why do the right care so much about him? It's not like he took two BILLION dollars from the Saudis or anything.
2
It just means there are no other cases where there was so much evidence of wrongdoing, so don't expect more of these. It's not often that you have such blatant scam artists at work.
2
@johnchristman750 The 14th Amendment does not say that it is up for congress to decide, it says that congress CAN make laws to support this amendment where necessary, but basic enforcement of it is carried out by the states, given that their elections are a state matter. The 14th has been used at several times to disqualify people form office, and in NONE of these cases was it "for congress to decide." They were ALL decided by judges and state election officials. You are the one making selective reading of the amendment.
2
@shoedogodo_5621 But Taiwan has been independent since 1949l it is no longer a part of China. That is the point. Most of Europe at SOME point belonged to France or Germany or Italy or Sweden, and now is independent of them, but that does not mean that those countries could unilaterally assert their control over those regions TODAY.
2
New York taxpayers.
2
That's because "they" is Russian bots.
2
Idiots: "Uh-oh, better go buy another dozen guns!"
2
He drew 80 million.
2
@picktheblueone Are you aware how many women do not report cases like this?
2
So, like, MAGA people.
2
It's already more closed than it was during the last administration.
2
@danielarocha6964 It's Republicans that seem to struggle with that distinction.
2
@zs9458 Again, they cannot stay in their countries and improve them because it's too dangeorus there. It's like asking someone to stay in a burning house and fix it themselves. You have to put the fires out first, then you can work on repairs. So that's why foreign aid will reduce refugees coming to the US, if their own countries are stable enough that they can stay there, can work to build them toward a better future, then they don't have to flee to America. We don't allow refugees in on the basis of "well, I just don't much like it here," if they are being admitted as refugees, it is because continuing to live in their home country is impossible.
2
Hook ‘Em No, red states need the relief bills more than blue states do, and they will be getting more funding from the bill than blue states will. Traditionally, blue states pay for red states to exist, because red states are really bad with money.
2
Hook ‘Em It is incorrect that Trump's tax cut was the largest working class & middle class tax cut in history. It was only the 12th largest tax cut in US history, and it mainly benefited the wealthy. The working class got relatively minor benefit from it.
2
@crazyeddie1981 No, $200milliin in gender studies does not help against covid. That is why there is not $200m in gender studies in this bill. Who told you that there was?
2
@whatsgoodmyguy4391 It goes from the government to the government so that the government can afford to pay for services that the people need, like police, firemen, keeping public transportation running, etc.
2
@whatsgoodmyguy4391 That is not what the bill says. It doesn't require schools to spend the money in 2022, it requires that they spend it by 2022. If they have needs today, they can spend it today, but it's basically designed to help provide funding over the course of this crisis.
2
Hook ‘Em California receives more federal money because they PAY more federal money. California is the 41st LEAST dependent state on federal funds. Each California resident pays the federal government $348 more than the Federal government pays them back. Compare that to, say,Texas, where the average resident receives $1280 more back from the Federal government than they pay in. States like California are paying for states like Texas.
2
@Bass1ne Everything you just said was nonsense.
2
Yup, if conservatives voters were capable of thinking for themselves, what would even be the point of MAGA?
2
He's at least better than any of the next three.
2
@roseadesjarlais5496 No, we kicked out Trump. Things will be much brighter with Joe in there. He's already done more good in two months than Trump did over four years (mainly by reversing things Trump put into motion).
2
You mean backward. Unless you're posting from Moscow, in which case, sure.
2
Russia is responsible for their own actions, they cannot blame anyone else for Putin's impotency.
2
Thoughts and prayers and gun control to prevent the next one.
2
@johnverley He wasn't the clown. The current one is the clown. This is really not complicated. The OP even noted how funny he was.
2
@wolveslair766 I'm sure one of his red-hat supporters can wave him over. If not, Joe can point the way for him.
2
@serfcityherewecome8069 If God hated America, then He would want Trump to lead it. God loves humanity too much to allow that. He was only willing to allow Trump to present an example of what never to allow again.
2
Yes, this is how cults typically work.
2
They still have a way to go if they want to match the incompetence of the previous administration though.
2
@nancyfox6238 Wait, do yo think that "woman" and "wife" are the same thing?
2
What's wrong with mail in votes? Trump votes by mail.
2
There is only one word to describe people who call Joe Biden a liar, and it happens to be that same word.
2
@drzaius1121 Requiring that something be posted in schools IS teaching it. It is requiring that it be taught in schools that the Christian God is the only god.
2
@pesty4592 "LGBT stuff" is not religion.
2
@carolynm8350 Morality does not require religion. It could be seen as acceptable to post an ADAPTED version of the Ten Commandments, that omits the first, second, and third commandments, but never the entire list.
2
@drzaius1121 Lesson plans are not relevant to the topic at hand. Something does not require a lesson plan to be a part of the school process. Something mandated to be on display in a classroom is being taught.
2
It's important to remember that however ridiculous Congresswoman Jayapal might get, there are at least a dozen Republican House members that are even more ridiculous. And that's being kind to the Republicans. Pobody's nerfect.
2
No, that's not why. "The rules are the rules, regardless of party," that's the democrat party.
2
That would not be why.
2
Yup, the fact is that MAGA owns the border crisis now. They are the ones blocking any efforts to fix it. You don't like that? Vote them all out.
2
Yup, this is why all the Trump indictments are happening.
