Well, the minority of the people, at least.
3
He's never had problems with his memory, unlike his predecessor.
3
No chance they can drag this out until 2029.
3
He knows more than his opponent.
3
God would weep if that came to pass. Trump and God have nothing to do with each other, and neither wants it any different.
3
Yeah, but sadly he just quit. Now all that's left is the MAGA clown car.
3
It wouldn't help. Gun control would though.
3
How hard it is to close a McDoanlds and film a photo op here your supporters drive up to the window? Anyone can do that, but only the Trump campaign would.
3
@JCB576 For Democrats? Yes. For Republicans? NOTHING is not about Trump.
3
Sadly, red states don't care about insurrection. Most of the Senators that were planning to object to the certification of the election were from Confederate states. Republicans will still win in those areas.
3
I would charge by the hour, in advance.
3
@clarkw4028 A republic is a democracy. You need to get your facts straight, missy.
3
I don't know why they're even covering this, it's just a normal school day in America. If anyone actually cared about this, we would have gun control laws more like other first world countries.
3
@soulife8383 The House just passed a bill that will help to get corporate money out of politics, but it is unlikely to get passed Senate Republicans. Contact your representatives.
3
Just so you're aware, that was not "a better time." It was just a time in which you were more comfortable, because they were not.
3
Trump is just sad that her rallies get 100 times more people than his. :(
3
Except for all the other ones.
3
@Ranger1PresentsVirtualRealms It was the founding fathers that took the view that the constitution is a living document. It's the Republicans that take the view that "the constitution says whatever we need it to say at any given time, and then the exact opposite in a different case (without reversing our previous decision)." But again, if you are right, and the conservatives do believe that the constitution should be taken seriously, then they have no option but to decide against Trump in this matter. The constitutional questions are crystal clear on this one.
3
@Burgundy64 Well, I expect he would take the 5th on any question that relates to the crimes he's being charged with, that's the entire point of having that protection in the Bill of Rights. But anything outside of that scope I would expect him to be honest about.
3
Because legislating those things are what the majority of voters sent them to Washington to do. Most people support legislating vaccines and access to abortion, and BOTH of those are a PART of paying attention to the economy and security. And sending money overseas, done wisely, is the best thing to do for both America's economy AND security. That's why China's been sending a tone of their money overseas over the past few decades. Benefiting other countries makes America's position in the world stronger.
3
@Hero_Of_Time94 China's current problems mainly stem from domestic failures, too much pointless home-building within the country itself. Their foreign policy choices have largely led in their favor, where even if a loan falls through, they get more out of it in terms of political value than the actual cost of the project. For example, a small, poor African country has just as much vote in the UN general assembly as the US does, so getting a dozen or two of those on board means China has an easy time getting their way in UN votes.
3
Unarmed students in every school now.
3
Well, he'd have to do a crime first. Then you just charge him with it. Otherwise you'd be talking about "tyranny," and we don't do that here.
3
Yeah, if that p[olicy were still in effect, we wouldn't have Fox News or Donald Trump.
3
You can't fix stupid, apparently.
3
@digimaks Yes, they can, because each Ukrainian soldier is apparently worth around 10,000 Russian ones. Perhaps more.
3
GOP clown show clowning again. 🤡 When Schiff runs for Senate in California, he should put "Censured by GOP House" on his campaign posters.
3
@bq6162 What do you think is true? All this story says is that the lawsuit searched for people's names in Maxwell's phone records. It doesn't say that they actually found anything, so really it's a nothing burger.
3
@iDeagles Nah.
3
@hughheeney3554 And this is why he's failing right now, he got rid of anyone capable.
3
Well if they ask him a question related to an ongoing criminal matter then of course he would plead the 5th. That's what it's there for.
3
Then stop making them right.
3
@catfishredneck88 The cult wears red caps.
3
Taking money from IRS agents DOES add to the debt. IRS agents are the ones that reduce the debt.
3
"Red wave," lol. More like a red puddle. Someone spilled the MAGA kool aid, clean it up.
3
Sadly, bigotry is more powerful than sports. Jesus would be disappointed in your choice. He loved all, including his LGBT brothers, sisters, and others.
3
"Can we make totally normal things sound sinister by using rhetorical questions?"
3
@kevinpreston5590 There are all sorts of things that would help, to varying degrees. Ideally we would at least implement Swiss style gun laws, or even better Japanese style gun laws. The point would be to have far fewer guns in circulation, greatly reducing the opportunity for criminals to acquire them.
3
It is the gun owner's fault though.
3
@christopherkwit3177 The part that it comes after "a well regulated militia," which would be the National Guard.
3
@AJDIAS-ov1zd No, I meant Neil Gorsuch's interpretation of the Constitution, which would mean that Trump would need to be removed form the ballot. Unless he changes his interpretation to suit this specific case, of course.
3
Because the judge didn't prosecute, the prosecutor did, and there was a crime, there were victims, and there was financial loss.
3
@Jimboslice911 Nah, any losses in NYC's future come more from a shift away from office working and more toward work form home, which is leaving a lot of offices vacant. This case will have zero impact on New York's economy.
3
Those would not be facts, they would be fictions. Learn the distinction.
3
Sadly, bigotry is more powerful than sports. . .
3
He does if you want it to actually work. That's the whole point of the bill, to solve the underlying structural problems at the border, rather than just putting on a show that you're "tough on the border" without actually accomplishing anything.
2
@avenue8822 "decency" and "precedent" have nothing to do with each other. If someone commits indecent acts, then the "precedent" of "doing nothing" would prevent you from upholding decency by holding them accountable for their actions. When Republicans do wrong, Republicans need to hold them accountable. So far, they have shown a shameful unwillingness to do so. There is nothing respectable about that.
2
@danothemano1 No, he did not do the same thing. It wasn't even remotely as bad. People who say things like that just have no idea what they're talking about.
2
Yes. Don't be sheep, vote out Republicans.
2
@elderlymanpoormemorybullseye Why do you believe rally sizes matter? If that was the defining factor, we would have President Taylor Swift right now.
