  9. Just look at the CA / NV or CA / AZ border and you can see price difference in real life. It is not corporate price gauging. It is CA legislators legislating the price of gasoline up. CA wants the state to have a blend of gas that is unique only to South Korea. No where else on the planet uses this specific blend. CA is slowly losing refineries. Meanwhile they want the unique blend. Finally, CA wants the highest gas taxes in the country. Holding supply only increases prices because of storage costs.

  41. These people are doing their degrees wrong. Companies will pay for degrees, both undergrad and masters. At minimum it is $5k per year. At most, the company will cover the whole degree if the manager and HR will write the degree into the job description as a requirement and it becomes a business expense that is not taxed as income for the employee.

  49. Oakland rode the coat tails of Silicon Valley for their prosperity. Even in the best of times, Oakland was the last choice to locate a business office. The first choices were Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Mateo, Fremont, San Francisco and finally if there were no other options, Oakland. The people tolerated the woke activism that spread in Oakland like a malignant cancer. The freeways were always shut down for protests. Storefronts were burned and looted for anything from faux racism claims to any sports team winning their respective competition. Oakland politicians and its voters did not realize how good they had it and continued mismanaging their city. This is the result of that mismanagement and woke progressive ideology.

  50. Government peanut butter and cheese was delicious. There is still nothing like it anywhere. The peanut butter has a weird smooth and sandy chunky texture to it and the cheese was mild and salty. It was perfect on bread and baked potatos.
