He just outright praised the anarchists in Homage to Catalonia who wanted to get rid of government in pursuit of stateless socialism. To anarchists, individualism relies upon cooperation and mutual aid to functionally exist in human society.

It has also shown itself to be able to exist in reality as said with the anarchist revolution in Catalonia and with modern anarchist projects such as the Indigenous Councils of Oaxaca, Exarcheia, Barbacha, and Freetown Christiania. There are also smaller scale setups such as the Really Really Free Market projects that demonstrate how a modern gift economy can behave. Anarchism is also influenced by evolutionary theory and anthropology most noted in Peter Kropotkin's book Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution.

For someone claiming to be a fascist you already show you have no idea what fascism is. Fascism is just capitalism in decay. It is not collectivist since it is based around prioritizing the good of the ruling class and not society by merging capitalist interests directly with the state. Benito Mussolini was very clear on this point when discussing the concept of class collaboration.

  12. Success is a relative term. The USSR already did a similar strategy with the NEP and under their leadership undid many of the actual gains the working class made during the revolution. China has done the same and helps perpetuate global capitalism and support for totalitarianism under the flimsy promise of eventually withering away in the future. America and its allies are entering a point of decay where populism encourages corrupt governments and fascist tendencies. Anarchists have been warning against the very corrupting nature of the state itself for over a century and Orwell even was known to have written highly of the revolution that occurred in Catalonia.

  16.  @toker6664  Trans is not a mental illness. Studies show that trans people who experience more accepting environments do not experience the same issues of mental illness. Same thing goes for being able to actually transition which helps improve their mental wellbeing. If you were to find your genitals were altered you would still identify with your gender not your gentials. Even if you do not care about trans individuals it should also be noted that it is infinitely more authoritarian to demonize millions of people and using government regulation on them sets a precedent for further regulating the rights of other people.

Also I've known several trans people and none of them are child lovers. Though Ive come across plenty of non trans people who prey on underage people. Statistically it is also shown that the majority of child abusers were in fact in heterosexual relationships.

Anarchism has seen a resurgence in modern times with the works of Peter Kropotkin and Alexander Berkman being rediscovered. There are even anarchist groups such as Revdia fighting the Russian invasion of Ukraine right now.

  19. Richard Wolff is cool at a lot of times but his advocacy of cooperatives misses a crucial part of Marx's analysis of capitalism. See the first two lines of Das Kapital in regards to commodity production. Marx understood that simply collectivizing the means of production does not move us out of the capitalist mode of production. Despite Marx's disagreements with anarchists there would be similar critiques and observations made by anarchists such as Peter Kropotkin.

  21. Last time Ayn Rand's ideas were tried out to create a Galt's Gulch it failed badly. There was also the events in early 2000s Argentina where the capitalists did something similar to what Rand wrote in Atlas Shrugged by leaving the country and factories. Instead of the facories collapsing the workers themselves took over the factories and kept things running until the capitalists came back to make the government arrest them. Her thoughts on individualism as well should be questioned since she thinks its individualistic for someone to submit themselves to the authority of a wealthy powerful few.

  22.  @DeathEater93  The plot of Atlas Shrugged is that capitalists leave to their own utopia while their factories and businesses fall apart without their expertise. Yet we have multiple instances in reality where it is shown workers can function just fine without capitalists. In fact it is thanks to the existence of capitalists that workers tend to be mistreated and suffer the mistakes of the capitalist. Which is ironically a collectivist concept for workers to lose their job just because the guy who owns the company is incompetent at their job.

  23. ​ @DeathEater93  there were characters such as Francisco Danconia who owned a mining business and purposely left it to ruin at the expense of the workers and it was explained multiple times that business owners were brought over. That is also avoiding the fact too that Galt's Gulch was already tried by fans of Ayn Rand in Chile and it ended in disaster with them squabbling over rights to the property and water in reality. Also I hate both capitalism and the state. Both infringe on the individual. Read Max Stirner.

  24. Milton Friedman's worked helped support the brutal dictator Pinochet. Also capitalism and socialism are different modes of production. Mixed systems are just keynesian capitalism. Socialsim isnt just government running everything. Anarchists are a type of socialist and advocate decentralization while making services publically available. The FAI formed the various affinity groups across the region while the CNT was formed out of the various worker unions across Spain including Basque, Asturians, Catalans, and Castillians. Economic freedom in the anarchist sense means being able to freely contribute and take as we see fit. Otherwise it is a system built to benefit the ones with the most land and money. The ones with the most land and money in turn are able to have the most politicial influence as opposed to the average individual.

  29.  @KayAteChef  You can go check for yourself. A Home Owner's Assocation uses state law to force residents into line and has rigid regulations. Anarchist communes rely on the consent and input of the people inolved in the community. Worker collectives allow workers to take back the full amount of what they work while also providing input and a voice in the process as opposed to just working to make someone else rich and having no input. Places like anarchist Catalonia also made upper class restaurants into essentially public soup kitchens for everyone to eat and transformed hotels into extra hospitals and shelters.

Arbitration can also be done with temporary neutral third parties. The law of the state however disproportionately benefits the ones with the most money, land, and political influence. Someone with a billion dollars is not punished for assault the same way someone with only a few thousand dollars is. The result being that the state inevitably favors and protects the ruling class.

When workers took control of their factories and farms they operated without the need for decision makers above. Planning and scheduling was according to the workers themselves. If you want to speak of murderous ideals then look no further than capitalism. Capitalists have helped fund the war machines for two of the largest wars in all of human history. Capitalism has us over produce food and medicine at the expense of workers and the environment then proceeds to kill millions yearly through starvation and treatable diseases because to do otherwise would not be profitable. 60 million died of famine in India thanks to the exploits of the East India Trading Company. Millions more continue to die due to capitalists funding rightwing death squads and perpetuating the military industrial complex. The gap between the rich and poor becomes wider and political power continues to become further centralized into the hands of the wealthy few.

The arrival of the British transformed their economy towards growing cash crops and selling their surplus which made the famines more severe. During such famines they continued to export food and little money existed for the local population to buy food from elsewhere when there was little in supply. Also anarchosyndicalist Catalonia demonstrates outright that workers can functionally take control of the means of production directly without the state or capitalists. The trade unions and affinity groups were able to coordinate complex manufacturing, city planning, military defense, education, farming, and so on. Other examples include the Indigenous Council of Oaxaca, Exarcheia, Barbacha, Ukraine Free Territory and the Really Really Free Markets which have explicit anarchist influence as well. Nonanarchist examples with similarities include Zapatista Chiapas, Kurdish Rojava, and the worker take overs of several factories in Argentina in around 2004.

The trade unions despite this have been ongoing in Catalonia and have even gained traction in areas such as Puerto Real as well. There is also the Barcelona Squatters movement which has anarchists involved in providing free housing to people too. There are also numerous current day examples too such as Indigenous Council in Oaxaca, Exarcheia, Barbacha, Freetown Christiania, and the Really Really Free Market Projects just to name a few.

  40.  @chrislee176  Well to start. Non-aggression has many issues with it. Aggression is a relative concept. A factory poisoning a community, someone smashing a window, businesses forcing the homeless into negative degree temperatures, landords forcing out tenants, and so on very from person to person on who is the aggressor. Orwell actively advocated shooting fascists for simply holding fascist beliefs. This was in his book Homage to Catalonia which also discussed the anarchist revolution that occurred there. The anarchists should be noted for seeing capitalism and the state as inherent aggressors against the common individual.

  41. Marx didnt distingush communism from socialism. That came much later with Lenin who said socialism is lower phase communism to justify the Soviety Union. Anarchists also would advocate stateless socialism and do not distinguish the terms either. Countries like the Nordic ones are social democrat and not socialist. Socialism/communism specifically means the means of production being under worker control and the mode of production being according to ability and need as opposed to just for profit.

Usually this is done through the various groups that engage in collective responsibility, seek out third party arbitrators, and restorative justice as opposed to capital punishment. The Zapatistas are technically not anarchist but they share many elements and lessons and have demonstrated they can have a peaceful functioning community without massive individual violence. Same too happened in Catalonia during the anarchist revolution that Orwell wrote about.

Though even going off of that logic that is not a justification for maintaining hierarchy especially when you admit that it is possible to engage in a socially cooperative manner that has been shown time after time to be more beneficial to a majority. Time after time human socieites tend towards egalitarianism and hierarchy has lead to poor distributions of resources and an imbalance in authority which in turn means instability. Going even further such cases of reliance on hierarchy help contribute to conditions for a general system collapse as outlined in Joseph Tainter's The Collapse of Complex Societies. A "mixed capitalist economy" is just keynesian economics. It has resulted in entire industries getting bailed out with trillions of tax dollars while the working class suffered the losses during every annual recession that occurs due to the boom bust cycle inherent to the capitalist economy. In terms of starvation it is again quite the opposite. We overproduce food and medicine yet millions die yearly of starvation and treatable diseases because while the capitalist market encourages overproduction it discourages supplying everyone since it would not be profitable. This is called artificial scarcity and it is a direct flawed byproduct of capitalism. This isnt even getting into how capitalism centralizes wealth and political power in the hands of the owner class and worker class making it so that lobbying and politicians funded by big corporations is an inevitable result. On a slight sidenote it should also be noted that crime rates have been improving but that has less to do with capitalism and more to do with better funding of various services such as aid and education for example which anarchists too have shown to be able to provide.
