In other words: If a girl, trapped in a male body-- has an immutable male identity (supposedly the reason for transitioning), How can gender be fluid and separate from biology? Answer: It can't

Consider that too many are inappropriately conflating the variability of personality traits and temperament (neither of which is gender exclusive-- hence effeminate males, butch females and tomboys) with gender, as though they're synonymous and- they are not. Then, they inappropriately conflate gender with gender roles. Then, they argue that gender and sex are different, failing to recognize that subjective gender identity doesn't change their biology at all. Men cannot become women and women cannot become men. It's not complicated, but apparently they lack the ability to process any of that intelligently.

Gender refers to the sex assigned at birth and the social aspects of being male or female, respectively. Male and female are biological categories which are fixed and permanent. They're LARPing, and aren't 'trans' anything. They're the exact same sex/gender prior to altering their appearance, as they are after they do. It's counter-culture Version 3.0 cosplay
