XX, XY, Birth Defect, That's it! MANY are inappropriately conflating the variability in personality traits and temperament (Neither of which are gender exclusive-- hence effeminate males, butch females, and tomboys) with 'gender'. There are clearly males and females with various biological abnormalities, infertility, post menopausal, anomalies and surgeries, etc.-- still male or female, respectively-- and none are representative of a new sex/gender that invalidates the binary. You can neuter your male dog, make him wear makeup and a dress, and it doesn't make him a female dog. Just sayin... 2. Intersex isn't another gender in the binary. Why, because there is no newly discovered benefit or attribute elevating the human design and are often infertile, but always only represent the 2 sexes in the binary. Also, none are w/ the ability to reproduce offspring by themselves. It's a silly argument to make. Would you argue that people born with one arm and leg invalidate the norm of people having 2 arms and 2 legs? fyi-- It does not You can have a surgeon alter your appearance to look like a Klingon from Star Trek and prescribe hormones etc... and it doesn't make you an actual Klingon, and those who think it does are delusional.

If the validity of your identity is predicated on the notion that all of society must ignore objective biological realities, then your identity is not valid. Straight up... It's as simple as that. Gender refers to the sex assigned at birth, and the social aspects of being male or female, respectively. Male and female are biological categories, which are fixed and permanent.
