@seandevlin4051 The point is people are claiming to identify as something other than what they are, and then insisting that the rest of society perceive them, as they perceive themselves subjectively.
One could, for example-- identify as being taller or more attractive, or intelligent, or physically fit than they actually are, objectively speaking.
Gay and Lesbian people don't seem to have difficulty recognizing men and women and discerning the differences to suite their preferences.
Gender refers to the sex assigned at birth and the social aspects of being male or female, respectively.
Male a female are biological categories, which are fixed and permanent, and one's feelings about them don't alter reality about it being true and correct.
The confusion in terminology seems to be rooted in the fact that they're inappropriately conflating personality traits and temperament, as if/though they're synonymous with gender, and they are not.

@OFARA The truth is the truth, regardless of one's opinion about it. You're conflating personality types with gender. I notice you didn't attempt to address my question. What's up w/ that?
If it is-- that gender is socially malleable or a social construct, how does it coexist side by side with the proposition that the girl who's trapped in a male body-- has an immutable male identity? It's incoherent -- or that only the individual themselves can determine their gender identity-- if it's a social construct, how does that work?? Again, It's incoherent
If it were true, that gender is a social construct, fluid, and malleable and not biological-- why the need to transition biologically? Again, incoherent
They're already, who they are to themselves, and the proclivity to alter their biology, suggests that gender is NOT separate from biology. Why the desire to change if gender is merely a social construct? Again, it's incoherent
No, It's XX, XY, Birth defect or evidence that a psych evaluation and treatment be considered, and btw-- the exceptions to the rules do not invalidate the rules. They validate them, hence being the exceptions
