  4. There is nothing significantly wrong with Australia. Issues are mostly blown up by the leftist media for political points. I've lived my 60+ years between Australua and NZ. NZ isn't a bed of roses. In spite of a treaty and a bunch of other programs, it's a more racist country than Australia. It's bicultural. It's Pakeha vs Maori. Paheha this and Maori that. It's endless and it's soul destroying. That's why my wife and I moved to Australia. You have to dig deeper than the headlines. But the problems are not due to Britian. Pretty sure ruzzia was firing thousands of shells into open fields etc. As to aid amounts from all contributers, total to date is more like 200B. Not all was for direct supply of weapons, and not all has been delivered, but I think your 20B is wrong. Additionally, I wouldn't believe any of the ruzzian figures. They lie about everything.

Everything was stoken by Hamas to further their own evil goals. How did they fund those tunnels and rockets.... tens of thousands fire into Israel since Hamas took autonomous control of Gaza.

  16. The people of Iraq wanted freedom in 2003. The joy and celebration at the arrival of troops into some of the outer towns and cities was a wonderful sight. But, it was short-lived as the opportunities were quandered by political incomptence, religious in-fighting, and tribalism. Same in Afganistan. You can't destroy bad ideas with guns. But they each have to make descisions and wear the consequences, even though Ukraine is the ultimate victim in all of this.   21. It's obvious and in fact no secret that Ukraine has a corruption problem. They inherited it from Russia. It's ingrained. Ukraine will likely take many years and expend an awful lot of effort before they fully purge the Russia rot, but with incentives like joining the EU and NATO, I'm confident they can do it as others have before them. How about focusing on the fact that Zelensky is having to guide his country through an existential war with terrorist Russia instead of tossing distractions at us..

I know that experience all too well, but a war with a superpower involves a lot of issues not found in school playgrounds. I shouldn't have to spell it out. And "the one arm tied behind their back" is also a poor analogy and a massively overused one. A better approach is to talk specifics. That way, you'll have to back up those specifics with a reasoned argument. And this comment is not aimed at you specifically, far too many people are falling back on lazy analogies and cliches.

  50. There is nothing wrong with both sides not losing, but that depends on what you meant by "lose". A collapse of the ruzzian federation could be very bad for everyone. A win for Ukraine would be the total withdrawal of ruzzia from Ukraine. I would consider that a win for Ukraine but not a loss for ruzzia. That would simply restore the official international borders. It could even be considered a win for both sides because there are potentially worse outcomes available for both sides.
