  3. ​@mikimiyazaki Oh stop it. You guys're constantly looking for SOMETHING to argue about. I didn't make two contradictory claims (TECHNICALLY I didn't make any claim. I just stated two opinions): I'm saying that I don't think Zhang is good enough to be champion. If I am wrong and it turns out that he actually is good enough of a fighter to be champ, then with his personality and how funny Zhang is, I think he'd make for an entertaining champion. That's all Miki. It's not that complicated. I'm sure you can continue along and find someone far more pleasing to argue with absolute trash than me.

  4.  @panchert5732  Yeah, Canizales is really good and has great experience. He's fought all over the world and I'm picking Kenshiro, but it would not be THE biggest upset if Canizales took it imo.

  14.  @shojun11 Yeah, Masuda looked good. Japan also has Sho Ishida who #1 for the WBA and Nishida who is #1 for the IBF. They're just STACKED at bantamweight even after Naoya left and I didn't even mention Higa who still fights at 118.

  16. As far as Top Rank KO's in 2021, I'm taking Rene Tellez Giron - Eduardo Garza and Anderson - Teslenko. But these were very good also.

  22. ​ @decidingpaper6324  That was Rocky Burke. I looked him up, he's also from New Mexico. The only thing I can think of is that Holly or someone from her camp, maybe Winklejohn, angered him in some way and he found a way to get back at them. By sending her lifeless, soulless body back in there.

  26.  @ychinamale  I cannot read Taylor's mind and I don't want to. All I know is that he tried to rematch Catterall and he said he got injured and then the WBO ordered him into a mandatory which was Lopez and they worked out a deal, which I'm sure paid him quite well, to go to the US and fight Lopez. Fights get postponed and rescheduled and canceled all the time. Fine. Stuff happens. I think we've developed really bad habits of accusing these guys of being afraid of this fight and that fight. I don't think Taylor's an idiot and I don't think he's in a rush to get beaten or ko'd, but I watch him fight and he doesn't strike me as a coward and he didn't sound like one after taking his loss last night either. That's just my opinion though.

  38.  @Anisotropickfootball  I'd have no problem with that but now they both have mandatories to clear. Nava has a rematch with Valdez and Conceicao has a rematch with Foster. Everyone has the same promoter, then the winners can fight.

  42.  @decidingpaper6324 You go back too far and you run into refs who were seemingly unaware that they had the power to stop fights before a death had occurred. That includes that clown counting out Machen while his corner was attending to him, that thing that sat there and watched Ike Williams zap years off of Beau Jack's life and, of course, the 'referee' who couldn't realize that Benny Paret was not metaphorically but LITERALLY DEAD.

I understand that. I was just thinking out loud. Still think it would be a great event for Kazakhstan but, apparently, it will never happen.

  46.  @bgonza2  I would have presumed Nava to be taller as well, because he seems kinda lanky. Couldn't be certain until/unless you saw them next to each other but, for whatever it's worth boxrec has them both at 5'7. Wiki has Nava at 5'7 and Stevenson at 5'8.

  47.  @bgonza2  Reach is listed as 72 for Nava and Stevenson with 68. I can't imagine Nava would want to use range in that fight though. I just read an interview with Nava where he said he'd fight Stevenson but he'd rather figh Valdez.

From a historical pov though it's definitely Top Rank. The stuff they have is theirs. They promoted or co-promoted all of it.
