  2. Maybe an odd take, but I think the frameworks are not bad its the business requirements that have gotten so ridiculous that as a result the rest of the web ecosystem had to evolve in an undesirable way. Everyone wants the best results with the least investment.

  28. Ā @reed6514Ā  But the thing is with code it would be much easier to catch and fix bugs, even during reviews you can catch some easy errors. The rest you can catch via testing. With regex there always tend to be some hidden behaviours that are hard to catch, and they only become worse as the regex grows longer.

  30. That was disappointing. Using Express and then saying its a CSS backend. It is the equivalent of using a templating language. I expected him to somehow make a compiler for CSS that would handle the requests, routing and basically everything that Express is doing here.
