@alwaysyouramanda The barbaric extremities will never stop until the authorities publicly expose the criminals' families, communities and identity groups, before forcing them to fully pay for the permanent physical, financial and mental damages of the victims. The families, communities and identity groups could help us to prevent the repeat offences if they're actually ashamed of their members' violent behaviors, as it is in communal societies

@krishna-nu9om Not in New York
1
Nobody died, so he'd likely just get a few years. He should be stabbed as an eye for an eye punishment and fully pay for his victim's permanent physical damage
1
People can always run from melee weapons. If it was a firearm, there would've been a carnage
1
@eddyvideostar Most unvigilant victims were unable to avoid sudden melee attacks, but people in the scene can always run from it and subdue the perpetrator using another melee weapon. If Ethan Crumbley, Frank James and Payton Gendron used short-ranged weapons, their numbers of casualties could've been highly minimized
1
Imagine if firearm ownership was heavily regulated in all states and if the citizens were willing to reduce their "freedom" a little to abolish illegal weapons, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk and play outside in big cities without having to worry about stray bullets
1
@DrKO2453 Most citizens in other highly developed countries cannot own legal and illegal firearms, yet they don't live under tyranny. They still have power over their governments, such as making Boris Johnson step down and Park Geun-hye jailed. Try to do it to the current president or the next one

@wayofthegun6224 It will be, if the murderers face a firing squad/ hanging x-[cute]-ion-er, the x-[cute]-ions are witnessed by people on the streets and the punishments are broadcasted live in prime-time on national television. The public humiliation and "eye for an eye" punishment will teach the young people to be ashamed of being violent, so they stop wanting to be feared
1
I thought cannabis were legal in the US?
1
In some poor countries, he would've been lynched to death. Violent criminals are getting more brazen in injuring, crippling and killing their victims, knowing there's no capital punishment in New York. Their worst scenario is getting free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers
1
Should've been executed on a street after he committed three violent crimes, so we can clean the country from barbaric people. Life sentence is too good for them
1
@_ Sionor People have been paying high taxes and making farms is cheap for one of the wealthiest countries in the world
1
Hardworking people can't even do their jobs without being attacked and harassed. Many taxpayers have been injured, crippled and killed, yet the survivors have to pay for the inmates' free meals, healthcare and shelter!
1
Very unfair for the victim's family. If the perpetrator joins the major identity group in prison, nobody will dare to touch him. He should've been executed on a street and on live TV, to deter the other violent people. Weak laws/ sentencing/ punishments, lawyers and defunding crowds have been ruining the once-great country

1
@fghghgvh 3.5% of Canada population and 3% of the UK population are b***k. Ghana and Kenya are much safer than the US, because of their tight regulations. In Switzerland, there were a few tragedies before their government tightened the regulations
1
The US seems good for rich people only. People who live outside gated communities and the ones who have to commute everyday using public transportation are highly vulnerable to crimes/ mass shootings
1
@aaronx8006 The Wild West
1
@Dees Nuts In late 2018, Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) achieved a landmark victory that he had pursued for years, which is a bipartisan bill that would reduce outdated tough criminal sentencing mandates
1
@chirho100 Lex Talionis and the execution must be shown on the streets/ national television, to deter other violent people
1
@sdghhf It'd be useless if he can't bring back capital punishment and make it public
1
@troyb.4101 The country had fallen into such a state of lawlessness, that citizens had to arm themselves because there were no police to protect them. The social contract seems to have been broken to such an extent, that the state is no longer able to keep the streets safe
1
@feggyduss6463 When you have a new generation that is growing up with no respect for authority and being encouraged to "express themselves" without morals or fear of reprisal, then you have anarchy
1
@anthonyhuber-permanentlyre7808 Violent criminals stole legal weapons from pawnshops/ [chuting] range/ the owners and some of them bought it from unlicensed makers. Extreme accessibility of firearms in the US is a double-edged sword and it's like a chicken & egg situation, because weapon thefts are rampant
1
@alanlangley7246 Unlike other developed countries, firearms in the US are highly accessible to untrained, alcoholic, mentally-ill, short-tempered and violent people. Then you have generations that are growing up with no respect for authority and being encouraged to "express themselves" without morals or fear of reprisal
1
@paulgentile1024 If the perpetrator joins the major identity group in prison, nobody will dare to touch him and he will enjoy free meals/ healthcare from taxpayers. He should've been executed on a street/ live TV to deter other violent people and to save taxpayers' money
1
Can't even play and walk outside anymore without worrying about stray bullets. Bronx = Urban war zone
1

1
Even if they get caught, they'd likely get released after a few days or months since nobody got injured and they'll never fully pay for their victims' permanent financial damages. Weak laws/ sentencing/ punishments, lawyers and defunding crowds have been ruining the once-great country
1
Imagine if the stray bullet pierced through one of his neighbors' houses or cars, then hit one child. Violent criminals stole legal weapons from pawnshops/ [chuting] range/ the owners and some of them bought it from unlicensed makers. 1
Some knives are made for cooking. Knives are good but risky, because the victim could outrun the attacker, may fight back, scream and survive the attack. A bullet will pierce the body and could make the victim paralyzed if he or she survives, as happened to Terrell Williams of Louisville, Kentucky, in 2017
1
@bxrokk Yes, I think people are tired of violent crimes in their neighborhoods. Weak laws/ sentencing/ punishments, lawyers and defunding crowds have been ruining the once-great country
1
Most violent criminals were born and raised in the country. There were only eleven executions last year and all were done behind closed doors. Cameras are almost everywhere now, so lenient punishments don't make sense anymore. Eye for an eye. The barbaric extremities will never stop until the authorities start thinning out the violent herd
1
Extreme accessibility of firearms. This atrocity isn't rampant in other developed and big countries. Those who live by them die by them - Matthew 26:52
1
@mrbrooklynite NYPD complained about the statistic in public, blaming the legal system for that
1
He should've brought his family to a euthanasia clinic. I believe there are some states that allow such practice and maybe it will hurt less than a bullet in the skull
1
Nobody gets injured, so they'd probably get released soon
1
@WNHTCT Yet the government keeps sending billions abroad for war in other countries, while homelessness, high violent crime rate and other problems haven't been solved
1

1
What was the Richter scale? The report is incomplete
1
@rustyspigot1876 The citizens in those developed countries can speak freely and have power over their governments, such as making Boris Johnson step down and Park Geun-hye jailed
1
If you wanna die, just go to a seedy area in Mexico
1
Violent criminals are getting more brazen in injuring, crippling and killing their victims, knowing there's no capital punishment in New York. Their worst scenario is getting free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers

1
Bronx is much worse. Violent criminals get released after a few months in jail and commit more crimes since they know there's no capital punishment in New York
1
Will the monarchy last one hundred years later?
1
The citizens are trigger-happy. There were 44,213 firearm-related casualties in 2022. The US government has to replace those citizens and children with around 55,000 legal immigrants who weren't raised with the US' ideology and education, through Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery program each year
1
Hate crime?
1
