@leonweskeradac8239 Unfortunately, there is no public persecution in NYC. Unlike in the East Asian and GCC countries, many young people in the US aren't ashamed for being violent and want to be feared
2
@merccadoosis8847 It is if the killer faces a firing squad/ hanging executioner, the execution is witnessed by people on the street and the punishment is broadcasted live on national television. The public humiliation and "an eye for an eye" punishment will teach the young people to be ashamed of being violent, so they stop wanting to be feared
2
The citizens are trigger-happy. There were 44,213 firearm-related casualties in 2022. The US government has to replace those citizens and children with around 55,000 legal immigrants who weren't raised with the US' ideology and education, through Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery program each year
2
@anglo_64 That's why the authorities should start thinning out the violent herd, otherwise the barbaric extremities will never stop
2
Even if they get caught, they'd likely get released after a few days or months since nobody got injured and they'll never fully pay for their victims' permanent financial damages. Weak laws/ sentencing/ punishments, lawyers and defunding crowds have been ruining the once-great country
2
I thought two kidneys is better than one, to remove waste and extra fluid more effectively?
2
Free speech makes us able to identify our enemies. Never forget 911. Many zealots look moderate, but they will push for their caliphate agenda whenever they get the chance and they will never accept leaders that adhere to other religions
2
Imagine if nobody was allowed to own firearm, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk/ play outside without worrying about stray bullets
2
@Joseph-ts4yv It will be, if the murderers face a firing squad/ hanging executioner, the executions are witnessed by people on the streets and the punishments are broadcasted live in prime-time on national television. @spider82666 They could also get free college degrees. After getting released, they could have affordable housing as well
2
Cameras are almost everywhere now, so lenient punishments don't make sense anymore. The authorities had better bring public executions back on the streets and on live TV
2
Wars need to occur, because there are too many humans for our limited resources. There were only 7.25 billion people in 2013, but we have 8.045 billion people now
2
The government should've let the population shrink naturally. Smaller population will make life competition less intense and lower property prices as happened in Japan, which will eventually make the citizens happier
2
@terrancetaylor4335 The inmates who're willing to study could get free college degrees in prison and they could also get affordable housing after getting released, while many young people have around 80k student debts and are struggling to pay rent. Since 2018, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance in New York put together a plan to spend around $7.3 M on college programs for prisoners, at the Bedford Hills, Taconic, Wallkill and other correctional facilities
2
Can't even attend a pool party in the US without getting permanent physical damages, thanks to unlimited "freedom" and the violent culture from two hundred years ago
2
Violent criminals are getting more brazen in injuring, crippling and killing their victims, knowing there's no capital punishment in New York. Their worst case scenario is getting free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers

@taiwoidowu2854 That's why most big cities in the US are almost lawless. Cameras are almost everywhere now, so lenient punishments don't make sense anymore
2
@lexbeltran1354 Eye-for-an-eye punishment is required
2
No, we need on-the-spot punishments and public persecutions. The individualism is too strong in the country, which makes the communities don't care about their members' violent behaviors
2
@Worst Case Scenario We've got good quality cameras almost everywhere now, to clearly prove the violent crimes
2
@benjaminsmith2287 Yeah, unfortunately the communities aren't ashamed of their members' violence either and will never prosecute them on the streets
2
Excellent idea, but human-rights activists won't let that happen
2
The right of the people to own automatic firearms, grenade launchers and C4, shall not be infringed
2
Never stay in Bronx and Brooklyn. Better leave New York or leave the stray bullet country if you've got enough money to retire elsewhere
2
@TheInvisibleManInBlack Just wanna reveal the unfair labeling
2
How could people work and study properly if the safety in the country is almost non existent?
2
A citizen had been making hundreds of illegal weapons for years at Malott Drive in a San Jose house without being detected and just got caught in September 2022

1
@meepmeep3308 Not if the process only takes a few months to complete after analyzing video evidence

@scottandrewhutchins The repeat offenders threaten people after they get released and many of them end up killing the taxpayers. Any murder that's clearly documented with a footage must be charged with a capital punishment, unless it was for self-defense
1
@scottandrewhutchins Murder, shooting and stabbing people in the eye are more evil. If a murder is CLEARLY documented with an undeniable VIDEO evidence and it isn't for self-defense, the punishment should be an eye for an eye
1
@scottandrewhutchins So the repeat offenders can cripple and kill the hardworking people, then the taxpayers will pay for the inmates' free meals, medical and shelter for the rest of their lives. The commuter who just got stabbed in the eye and the woman who was recently pushed into the train track are the ones who experienced the barbaric extremity, not the murderer, you or me
1
@scottandrewhutchins Whether I'm morally "better" than the killers or not is irrelevant, if the repeat offenders keep crippling and killing the commuters due to no fear of punishment. What really matters is preventing another brutal crime from happening, by broadcasting the executions
1

Taxpayers' money shouldn't be spent for his meals, healthcare and college degree in prison. He should be stabbed as a fair punishment and fully pay for his victim's permanent physical damage, by doing hard labor in prison
1

@musclerussell8109 You're absolutely correct. Had they not brought the slaves in, the US could've been a much better place to live
1
@madelinehenry6913 That's because the laws, the government, the authorities and the communities are too lenient with the violent people. In some countries, gangsters and robbers get public persecutions on the streets, because their actions embarrass their identity groups and communities
1
Only unfit people died of COVID
1
@bigsamuil I don't think the elites will allow socialism to happen in the country
1
Unlike the other developed countries, the firearms in the US are highly accessible to poor, short-tempered and violent people. Then you have a new generation that is growing up with no respect for authority and being encouraged to "express themselves" without morals or fear of reprisal
1
@davidgribble263 Try to find a remote work or make some online businesses, if possible
1
@miker9082 I bet the violent guy will get released soon, as nobody died
