@savemyneighborhood Individualism is too strong in the country, so violence is often considered as individual mistakes. In communal societies, people in the neighborhoods work together to raise their children properly and to defend their communities from violent crimes

@rvnna There is no racial slurs in my comments nor did I imply anything about race. You got triggered, so you either have a victimhood mindset or are just extremely tribal

Hollywood will surely turn this unique story into an interesting movie. A deadly love triangle between three Asian le$b* and one of them is a cop

@alive2583 Taxpayers' money shouldn't have been spent to provide food, healthcare, college degrees and housing for the inmates/ ex-felons. The victims deserve full compensation for the financial damages caused by the criminals and the bad guys have to learn how to work hard in prison, as the blue-collar workers do

@genesis-uh7lg Yes, but it has become worse since St Floyd

Imagine if nobody was allowed to own firearm, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk/ play outside without worrying about stray bullets

To solve firearm violence problems in the US, ALL states must tighten the firearm laws as other highly developed countries did. Otherwise armed violent people from the states with relaxed firearm control measures could always visit the safer states

Dying for a romance is ridiculous

@abdulazizalzut8963 I didn't mention any skin color

@mydogsioux It will be, if the murderers face a firing squad/ hanging executioner, the executions are witnessed by people on the streets and the punishments are broadcasted live in prime-time on national television. The public humiliation and "eye for an eye" punishment will teach the young people to be ashamed of being violent, so they stop wanting to be feared
5
@alive2583 They could also get free college degrees in prison and affordable housing once they get released, while many young people are struggling to pay rent and have around 80k student debts. Since 2018, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance in New York put together a plan to spend around $7.3 M on college programs for prisoners

Firearm-infested country

Maybe he had a lot of debts?

Violent criminals are getting more brazen in injuring, crippling and killing their victims, knowing there's no capital punishment in New York. Their worst scenario is getting free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers

At the beginning of the pandemic, Governor Greg Abbott signed HB1927 into law, allowing license holders the freedom to wear their weapons unconcealed. People were afraid and he capitalized on that fear. Firearm sales grew exponentially as did the fear within average citizens. People who wouldn't dream of owning weapons went out and bought "personal protection". The NRA and SCCA got rich overnight. During the lockdown, Greg Abbott signed a law that classified firearm stores as "essential businesses" thus, allowing the panic buying of weapons to continue unimpeded Now that the population is saturated with firearms, access has become easier than ever. Buying a used firearm or acquiring one from the black market is practically effortless. Stealing them is just as easy Fast forward three years. Violent crimes involving a firearm are a daily, commonplace occurrence. It's not just Houston or Texas. Many of those guns have crossed state lines. America is at war with itself and people are dying every day as a result

Audrey Hale in Nashville was under doctor's care for emotional instability, yet she was free to buy as many arms as she wanted to take children's lives at Covenant school. North Carolina Senate Bill 41 eliminated the required background checks for firearms and the lawmakers in the Florida House of Representatives passed a bill that would allow firearm owners to carry a concealed firearm without a state permit. Way to go, America!

@warsh1p234 The inmates who're willing to study could get free college degrees in prison and ex-convict could get affordable housing, while many young people have around 80k student debts and are struggling to pay rent. Since 2018, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance in New York put together a plan to spend around $7.3 M on college programs for prisoners, at the Bedford Hills, Taconic, Wallkill and other correctional facilities

Even the experienced human drivers will make unpredictable and emotional decisions at some point, because of our biological limitations. On the other hand, each AI-controlled or driverless vehicle will transmit signals to supervise each other in a highly-controlled system

Batman is a lame vigilante because he doesn't take lives and is filthy rich. The Punisher is a way more realistic and grounded character, similar to Paul Kersey in Death Wish

If you would like to feel his existence or mentality, watch the footages of Daesh slowly burning/ beheading their prisoners alive or wild dogs/ lions slowly devouring their preys alive from behind

Useless if the authorities don't do it on the streets and on live TV

7 burglaries and still roaming around, maybe hurting people as well. After he gets caught, he'll get free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers

Millions of nurses in the Philippines, India and other Asian countries are eager to work in the US
3
@anthonyhuber-permanentlyre7808 England has similar demographics, yet most violent people in that country can't cause carnages because they can't steal firearms from pawnshops/ [chuting] range/ the owners and can't bought it from unlicensed makers. Based on the latest statistics from Federal Bureau of Prisons, 57.6% of inmates are [Wyatt] and 38.4% are [Blake]

If the authorities can't protect the neighborhoods and the small businesses, they'd better form neighborhood watch groups that are allowed to use lethal force. Violent criminals are getting more brazen in injuring, crippling and killing their victims, knowing there's no capital punishment in New York

@Odin33356 Some people showed that behavior

In October 2022, NYPD announced that 1027 violent crimes were committed by 43 individuals only last year, which means they were caught and released after several days

He could've got a low-paid job to pay for the liquor

If you're not mentally and financially ready to have children, don't produce them

Imagine if firearm ownership was heavily regulated in all states and if the citizens were willing to reduce their "freedom" a little to abolish illegal weapons, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk and play outside in big cities without having to worry about stray bullets

She became crippled after one visit to the US

I believe it's because of the introvert culture as compared to the US' and maybe the punishments are more severe in East Asian countries. A city-wide CCTV program has been proposed in the US a long time ago, but people keep screaming privacy while having Instagram and TikTok pages
3
@hkraytai Maybe, but those doors still prevent shoves from happening
