They needed an entry and it does fill a gap. But completely agree, it is not as luxurious as Aviator and the power train is beyond disappointing. It does look good from outside.
2
Beautiful intro video and music. Well done.
2
The suspension and hopefully better fuel economy.
2
We bought an RTL-E in 2019 and specifically looked for AWD. It is so much better for my wife to feel safe when drives in rain and sometimes ice.
2
I get a Jeep a grand Cherokee TrackHawk over this any day
2
The SUV version looks better
2
Great car. If memory serves that automatic had issues.
2
Lol that cargo area. Who was the engineer on this vehicle? That makes it a no go. No way. I take a Tahoe based on that cargo area. Stupid.
2
Good looking vehicle. I like he combo of engine and tran and interior is nice. I wish they had full gauges instead of that wonky styled one in this. Still, not much else out there like it.
2
That range is just bad. Not acceptable. What a weak weak performance.
2
In a really bad way. This thing really looks cheap. I get a Tacoma any day over this.
2
Kind of irrelevant vehicle. For America the larger CT6 would have been more appropriate with a normal automatic. Alas, that is now only reserved for China. Caddy is so lost not even funny.
2
Genesis always late to party. They introduced luxury brand with Great Recession. Now they finally introduce a luxury SUV finally during Corona recession. And still no dealers.
2
I actually love the gauges
2
Length of it did not change, so I think it is safe to say it is midsize truck.
2
I wish instead he would test a lower trim like Laredo or Limited. No one buys a $70,000+ Grand Cherokee unless it has a Hellcat or SRT V8.
2
That new Ford Escape looks better inside and out.
2
Almost 4,000 pounds, my how porky đˇ you gotten
2
Those may be ugliest wheels I ever saw. Fail.
2
Superb vehicle. No Toyota competitor. Edge is mostly turbo four cylinders unless you get the expensive ST version. Murano has an idiotic CVT. Grand Cherokee is more capable but nowhere near as reliable as a Honda. Koreans donât have a V6 two row. Blazer is a joke. Absolutely nailed it. Toyota your turn. 4-runner and Wrangler are not good enough on road.
2
It looks great. I just doubt it lasts as long as a RAV-4, but it looks good enough for sure inside and out
2
WTF is wrong with Mercedes engines? They put a 2.0 liter lawn mower turbo in this vehicle or turbo/electric engine with new straight six that is less efficient than BMW? What can possibly go wrong with that overcomplex Mercedes German junk engine ?
2
Any one who buys this vehicle over a new Honda Passport should check in with their brain Doctor. This thing is not worth a dime over 30k fully loaded. It doesnât even make a good rental vehicle with cheap Chinese based plastics and interior.
2
@naveenthemachine How about resale value? How about number 1 in Sales? How about reliability? You want more???????
2
I prefer a base Nsx with a naturally aspirated engine for 70k-80k. This thing is too complex and even with recent discounts is still overpriced for its market segment, it should compete with a Corvette, nothing more.
2
Lol most Grand Cherokees are Laredos and Altitudes and Limited. Test those to see how luxurious or cheap it is. Summit in old generation was very nice but they donât sell.
2
Garbage engine and transmissions, stay away
2
Just remember to lease it, its a BMW. Meaning itâll break down and depreciate like crazy. Shame we donât see Toyota engineering, look at Lexus models for Toyota goodness.
2
If I have 60-70k I buy a Grand Cherokee SRT and destroy both of these and pocket 20-30k.
2
Depends on what you are looking for. Lexus IS a luxury sporty coupe. Also no hard top convertible. Vette is true mid engine sports coupe with superior acceleration and handling.
2
Looks good. Honestly the old none would have sold good even if they didnât do a redesign. This one will sell. And good price.
2
Ten years from now we remember that Cybertruck intro. Ten years from now we donât know what last years intro of latest F150 or Silverado or RAM was all about.
2
WTF why does Mercedes not offer fog lights? Is that luxury?
2
The issue is how many Kia owners own their own homes or have a place to charge this thing? Teslas are bought by rich people who have homes. I find proliferation of electrics more dependent on fast charging outside stations availability (10 minutes or less). Till then, theyâll remain a niche product.
2
Dark blue interior amd black exterior is a very strange combo. Whoever came up with that combo may be color blind.
2
What a disaster. This is what California is mandating. Garbage.
1
They did great. My only beef why no tuning knob in this ginormous truck?
1
Superb intro
1
The reviewer misses The point entirely. The reason people are upset with this vehicle is because Chevy should have reserved Blazer name for a body on frame vehicle. They could have used any other name for this front wheel drive a CUV. But Chevy has no respect for tradition and peopleâs connections to past. But this youngish reviewer is too immature to get it as he talks about his free sponsored watches.
1
Whatâs a luxury Shedan lol
1
Holy button overload in base Porsche Batman
1
Instead of pouring all that money into autonomous tech junk, they should have provided a full electric version of Fusion with 250-300 miles of range. Instead they are giving up, just sad.
1
Which other full size truck competes in this space? That statement by reviewer in beginning is misleading
1
Lol yeah you donât get it. It looks great with white trim. You still are infatuated with played out black wheels and trim.
1
EVs are disposable and should be only leased,
1
RAV-4 all the way. Looks better and Toyota knows what they are doing in hybrids. They really need to go to full LEDs on RAV-4 though.
1
Does it also come with column mounted shift lever?
1
The front of that car is a joke. Just a joke. Amazing they approved this for sale. Fire the designer and whomever approved it. Absolutely a disaster.
1
I still take it over a BMW i3
1
I wonder how much of their problems was caused by cost cutting introduced by Carols Ghosn. They went for short term gains in place of long term investment. The complete anti Japanese model introduced by outsiders.
