I love Dodge and it’s colors. Bravo. Dodge giving people what we want. Color and performance. These look great. Great video.

So sad to see the V8 gone. This vehicle lost claim to being flagship with that change. The flagship is now Lx 570 you reviewed or Lc500. If I want a sedan in this class I take the Genesis G90.
4
114 miles of range? Really. Wow. Why do they even sell this? Hard pass. Seems like a stop gap not designed to be electric, it’s a retrofit.
4
How is a 6000 pound car environmentally friendly? 🤦♂️
4
Better ride, better brakes, better range, fast enough. I agree, this seems to be the trim to get. I think Ford did a great job with this vehicle. I wish they did not name it Mustang but otherwise a great entry. Loved the review.
4
Almost perfect. Love the manual may be Vette can also offer one as it’s arch enemy is still doing it. I think these bodies are a little wide but that seems to be a thing these days, otherwise perfection. Is that a closed road at beginning of video, that was great driving.
4
I wonder why Honda uses normal transmission shift gear level as God intended, but then uses shift buttons for its SUVs. Surely it would be cheaper to just create one way to use to shift gears, no?
4
This is really an opportunity lost for Toyota. The BMW genes are too obvious, size is close to FRS, and biggest problem, how can you introduce a car to enthusiasts without a manual? Brian how do you compare this Supra to a Mustang 2.3 or. civic type R? Civic has four doors, I have driven a friend’s, and it is a revelation (yes I know it is front wheel drive), but Civic has four doors and more space.
4
What happened to your leg? Wow that means no manuals for you for a while. Take care Brian
3
Yes I think that is same engine as in big Audis too.
3
Great looking car inside and out. I was going to say perfect until I saw the part of video and you showing us the ride over large bumps and the up and down motion. The Si is probably still the way to go for ,e but this looks so good. Beautiful shifting of that manual.
3
I take the IS500 base with no luxury. That car was a revelation. 😇
3
They have to have this to compete with Audi A5, Mercedes GLc and X3. I really want to know how it compares to new Lincoln Corsair. I like what Lincoln is doing much better than Caddy inside and out.
3
That infotainment screen is too big. The seats may be great but the amount of space they take makes second row unusable.in my opinion not worth the money. You are right they are gimmicks. I get the TRD sport or Off-road 4x4. Really overall I like the prior engine in Tacos but what do you do, turbos are the thing nowadays.
3
I have heard of engine problems in cold weather with oil dilution. Infotainment as they say is not good to be generous. And the whole transmission lever placement is minivan like. Add to that a CVT, and I personally take a pass. What I like about Honda and RAV-4, they give you same engine in all trims unless you go for hybrid. Compare that to GM and Ford and MOPaR and Koreans who trick you with review of their top trims with stronger engines but their volume sellers have weak engines.
3
100% agree it can get out of its own way but speed is not its thing. I have the automatic and it will also down shift on highways all the time when you get to a hill. A little annoying but one gets used to it.
3
All that capability and no meat on tires. I probably get a Land Cruiser instead as it doesn’t have that strange grill. These probably last easy over 200,000 miles. The mechanical bits are going to last as long as you live. Agreed infotainment is a mess. I think I rather get a F150 with a Coyote for half the price with more modern tech and even more room in back seat with FX4 package 😇.
3
Lol you can’t rob a bank with that slow poke. Any Tesla model 3 will shame it. As for the exterior is so bad with that grey cladding. I get a civic R instead, yeah I pay more, but that thing will appreciate, this Subaru is forgettable. Waste of your driving skills.
3
Super video explaining difference in suspension between 392 and Hellcat. Love these vehicles. Would you buy the. Over Germans with turbo engines ?
3
Nice review. Love these Chargers, if I could afford even a base RT with base HEMI is enough for me. SRT with flared fenders May be perfect. This one is crazy.
3
Brian have you tested Subaru Crosstrek? I am really interested in your thoughts with that vehicle compared to Bronco Sport. My niece really wants that Subaru, I recommended a RAV-4, but I can see how crosstrek and Bronco sport appeals to outdoorsy young people.
3
Problem with this car is that C8 exists. I rather have hard top C8 Stingray. Great ride and much faster and better dynamics. And C8 interior has real buttons. Or Lexus LC which looks better. This is why I never see these in the wild.
3
They should let Tesla put a real battery and make it work in their charging infrastructure. The tech on VW is at least five years behind Tesla. So sad.
3
Beautiful vehicle, love that monochromatic Caddy logo on the white exterior. The fuel efficiency makes it a no brainer unless you want to hear nice engine noise and can afford the gas. Overall fantastic, but I probably take Yukon because it is a little more conservative inside and out. GM big SUVs rule the land.
3
Great video of driving in snow after watching so many sunny Colorado videos in California 🤣 Strange strange vehicle. Looks strange outside and way too much tech for me. I guess luxury cars and SUVs are defined differently for me. I need more tactile controls and less flashing lights and hidden features in menu after menu.
3
I a, with you on paint color, I rather just get a normal silver.
3
Great review. The part that mattered to me is when you said with four passengers the pickup was not the greatest. I mean this is the type of vehicle one buys to carry many people. Why would I want to buy it if it can't get out of its own way when I am carrying my family. I think this is a hard pass, at least in four cylinder form. I take Telluride or Grand Cherokee L any day over this poverty level Explorer.
3
What a great looking truck. It really is an interesting trim. I like TRD sport on Tacoma and I like the sportiness in this one. I still miss the V8 but as gas keeps going higher and higher in price, if it helps with fuel economy it is a good compromise.
3
That thing is legit quick. It can beat Mustangs off the line. Is that a CUV or Hatchback? Great looking vehicle. If you own a home where you can charge this over night and don’t go out of town, it’s a fine vehicle. Essentially a city car. Let’s hope charging time and charging station availability gets better.
3
Beautiful inside and out, I miss the old 5.0 V8 but otherwise nothing wrong with the V6 model. The wheels on white one is not my style. Otherwise, I am surprised at how Genesis is pricing these so high. Near 70k US won’t capture market share from Lexus or Germans. They need to be substantially lower priced to capture market. Makes a great used car though 😁
3
Good looking, great driving, enjoyable video.
3
Much respect to Honda for not giving up on sedans. Looks great in that red. I agree that infotainment controller is a hot mess and center transmission control is just different for sake of being different. It all needs to be balanced against how few sedans we have left and how great dynamically it seems to be. I be happy with this trim and engine. Wish we could get a manual but otherwise really great vehicle.
3
Good looking car and you driving the manual makes for a great video. I agree that pop up heads-up unit is cheap and not needed. Every Mini should offer a manual. That visor on top of door is so weird 🤣. This or a Civic Si?
3
Good looking car, bad choice of wheels. They could sell a ton at $50,000. Alas at starting over $100,000, no way do I take this over a Tesla model 3 or S.
3
It is a good looking SUV, as,good as an older Ranger Rover. Interior functionality suffers. We bought a Honda Pilot a few months ago because naturally aspirated V6 and reliability. Hopefully Ford improved reliability as when I checked this vehicle when it was introduced it was a joke and a disaster.
3
Great review of a very well executed vehicle. For a small CUV can’t ask for much more. I love the Tran is soon choice. Ok I don’t like the interior colors, I want a lighter grey. And I want fog lights which I don’t know if it has or not. Otherwise, this kills the Mazda 3 hatch, yes I know that is a controversial comment. Good looking, speedy, and all the features for a small CUV.
3
That is a really nice looking small SUV. I think the four cylinder is probably good enough for so,done I. This market. So Brian, which do you prefer? X3 or Q5 or this here? Or equivalent Lexus?
3
I 100% agree, best front wheel drive performance car everything considered. Really a blast.
3
Funny thing is CT5 looks a lot like CTS from far. The Caddy naming convention is stupid. No other way to call it. The red looks striking and this is a good vehicle, and looks ok other than strange rear black C pillar and awkward rear end. I really think we need a electric Caddy sedan and coupe with real names now that GM seems all bought into electrics. I still take last generation CTS-V over this CT5 😈
3
Brian did you find entry/exit difficult from either front or rear seats? I am wondering if it is too low?
3
Such a strange vehicle. It’s like t can’t make up its mind whether it wants to be car or SUV. My guess, it won’t long for this world, shades of Venza past.
3
Beautiful car. I don’t care if it is not the fastest it is fast enough. Definitely a great car that goes under radar and worth it. Brian great driving as always.
3
Great looking car in that bronze. You are driving this so smooth at first I thought it was an automatic, great driving. Really a secret with great Toyota reliability. Do you think this car serve as every day car or is it better suited for Sunday curvy road drives?
3
I really like it in that color and with those wheels and black Chevy logos. Definitely the best large SUVs on the market with a V8. I think 5.3 is solid enough. And good transmission. I don’t understand why it has no fog lights though. And I am with you, the push button gear selector is a get used to thing for me instead of a column mounted Lever, I wish they don’t try to fix problems that don’t exist. Otherwise IMO this really is a home run with independent rear suspension and more room and nicer materials, so much better than Expedition.old school American luxury right here with a great highway ride and isolation 😁
3
Definitely one of those vehicles I am considering for future. Either this or Durango or a Tahoe. Or may be a Toyota SUv, new 4-Runner whenever they come out with that 🤣
3
Is that the SOHC with VTEC or DOHC new Honda engine?
2
Great review as always Brian. It does look like a real Bronco. In that trim and colors outside and in I love. Gorgeous and well done Ford in design. I disagree in that transmission knob, wish it had a lever. Do you think thicker glass may help with noise on highway? So much nicer than Escape, Well done Ford.
2
You know I think BMW missed an opportunity with Mini. It didn’t have to be premium, that is BMW. This should max out at 30,000. I also think BMW is really lost in electrification because here is a small platform that probably lends itself to becoming electric, yet it’s all crickets. A Mini is a city runabout. With 250 to 300 miles of electric juice will be great for the cities.
2
What an amazing car. This is the ultimate in performance luxury grand touring. What a Mercedes SL used to be. Or a Caddy Eldorado. Beautiful. The Yamaha Toyota joint ventures seem to have history. Did Yamaha not help Toyota with that tiny Toyota James Bond Sean Connery RIP used to drive? Magnificent beast, simply magnificent. Just remove that license plate please 😁
2
The yellow stickers do look great on grey 😻
