  6. As someone who's on his 40's here's something's I've observed: Being an entrepreneur is not an easy path. It's not like going to school, University and get the job you are qualified for. You must like exploration, traveling and discovering new things, love socializing, knowing the right people, etc. It's basically knowing your way on a sea of unknown. Your success must come above your moral principles. There's a reason why people say: "Everything is fair in love and war". Here's a couple of examples: The junior architect in the atelier I was working, told us a story about a guy he knew, who went to an interview and when asked if he knew how to work with a drawing program, he didn't knew, he answered: yes. He was still working in that atelier years after. So the lie paid off. An elderly colleague told me how Trump and Boris Johnson got where they are because they learned to lie from an early age from their mentors. For example, I was told that the Trump tower had more floors than permitted. Trump, just omitted some floors on the plan submitted for approval and now when people go in the lift, there's some floors that take more time to reach because of the hidden floors. I don't know if this is true but that's what he told me. The senior Architect boss, I worked for almost 2 decades, was so used to lie he even lied in simple daily things that weren't necessary to lie. He had a atelier with his associate and married 4 times. The divorce laws in Portugal are not as punishing as in the US. All because he couldn't love the women he married, for a long period of time. He was an Alpha type. He didn't say much but when he was angry you were going to have a rough time. He graduated by showing in the final exam a project his friend made for him. He established connections by inviting council Architects for a coffee and offering them gifts in return for work. That's bribery for me. My junior Architect was a Catholic. When I asked him what he wanted, he would answer: go to heaven. Yet he lied to his clients when he couldn't make the deadlines, lied to my boss when he needed more time for his atelier projects. He would take time from the atelier he was working in order to answer calls for his atelier. My colleagues all studied in the same University as I did, they had fees to pay as well. However they would use half the time to make their projects also the atelier materials to make their presentations. That's stealing for me. To the outside world they were successful working, full time, university students and none knew how they managed to do it. In the end they graduated, I didn't. I was always too exhausted and had deadlines I couldn't accomplish due to working a full time job. There's a reason why builders think Architects are crazy and full of crap. In my work (physical job) there's colleagues who always finish early. I get moaned at for taking too long. But when you go after their work the next day it's a dog's dinner. I even had a colleague who swear in his daughters name that he had cleared everything to another one that was pissed off at him, for leaving too much work to do. Hard work is not enough, it will provide you with a job but that's it. In the end there's a price to pay for women and success. It's no coincidence women only chase after the bad boys, Chads, Tyrone's and rich guys. All people who care only about themselves. The irony in this is: women complain all the time, men are trash, yet they chase after this guys. Some people might disagree but I can only speak for my experience.
