  7. She truly was, basically all of our lives, the eternal Queen. I just still kept imagining she would be with us forever. Realistically for a few more years. I’m not ready to say goodbye, and to think that the Second Elizabethan era, has now come to an end, and we are now in fact on the edge of another. We may now have a king, but in my heart, and so many of ours, for now, Elizabeth is still OUR queen. Goodbye Elizabeth

I wish if I was in the Royal Navy right now (not in the Royal Navy or army due to unfair medical grounds according to the health officers) rather than at university I could be deployed with HMS Queen Elizabeth. Although from what I’ve heard from other personnel in the Navy and apparently from some Royal Marines, a lot of them are wishing the same thing right now. HMS QE really is where it’s at right now.👏🏼 We need to stay strong together, and she is a huge part of that now.

  12. I’ve noticed the exact same thing. Saw a civilian satellite footage of the column yesterday and didn’t seem as long as many have made it out to believe and you really don’t notice many armoured vehicles or tanks within it. Definitely feels like it’s logistics and supplies. In which case they are waiting more likely less for an invasion of the cities and just for the shelling to stop so they can move in. In which case it might be safer to actually take the fight to the column and take what supplies they can from that to add to the supplies that are running out in some areas of the cities.

  15. It’s appalling that Iron Dome wasn’t sent to Ukraine within the opening week of the stage of the Russian war after the 24th February. With it, an unprecedented amount of lives could’ve been saved and so much public damage prevented. This is one of the biggest mistakes that has happened in this war.

  19. This could be very useful in defending the channel too and more easily pinpointing who is coming over illegally and intercept them (really important in this current time). Not very much information though on its functionality though. I.e. power consumption and camera capabilities. It doesn’t tell you how good the camera is at certain ranges. That is very important for a piece of technology like this, seeing as it’s always improving in the commercial sector.

  20. Here here. Plus it seems like they are planning to have it built and designed entirely in Britain. That is another plus. Even if it might not be intended for actual frontline combat, that is fine. That just means they can get approval for it faster and doesn’t need to go through so many ridiculous demands and challenges with checking all the boxes. No wonder they believe they can get it going within the decade. I’m all for this.

This is a moment that will bring the Royal Family, military and the general public together even more than we have for quite a while.

  33. Well, I never thought I’d see the day. The body armour change seems to be good, but the rest!? People used to describe what they are talking about her as a joke of what the future would look like. And of course the others scoffed at such a notion. Well, here it is. Honestly don’t know what to think. What is happening here, verses the reality of war as we are seeing now with are own lives. No wonder the government is so scared to do what is right. If things keep going the way they are, I sadly don’t think we’ll last very long.😞 My heart aches.

We really do need to be sending far more equipment including actual tanks to Ukraine (I’m looking at you Challenger 2s), but it is great that we are actually sending even developing equipment like this that is still in line with what our government has been saying we will send up to now. I guess the military and government wanted to keep this particular piece more of a secret (just by lumping it in with the rest so saying it without directly saying it) in case it looked bad we were giving them RND equipment, or the Russians found out about it to try and counteract it or something they could try and capture. Nevertheless, it seems to be out in the open now, and has actually done a really good job. If it helps us to know that the equipment actually works and we can speed up its implementation in our regular forces, and helps Ukrainians ASAP on the ground, then all the better.   37. This is what made me roll my eyes so much at this video and what the army is becoming. Why are earth is this even an issue or people allowed to even have a voice about something like this, when there are far more literary world important matters right now that the army needs to be doing. The only thing we all must be talking about right now is supplying as many weapons to Ukraine as possible, and looking at doubling the size of our forces potentially and actually increasing our armaments, rather than never-ending reductions for the sake of apparent upgrades. Our tanks been one of them. This whole naming convention change for the sake of making a small group of outsiders happy, which is absolutely insane, when the army are supposed to be about strength and following orders, it’s just making us never ending the week. If this keeps on, I don’t see how we could ever survive against a real enemy now. Perhaps that’s why we actually don’t seem to have the guts to do any real fighting anymore. This is actually genuinely one of my worries that has been at the back of my mind. Perhaps, our government and the US government are too scared to send our armies into battle against an actual large-scale military force, because our army has become too much of a show pony simply to be a deterrent, but in actuality, although it is now pleasing to a lot of people, might no longer be up to stuff to actually fight against an enemy that doesn’t give a damn about woke culture in the slightest. I hate saying it, I really do, but I just can’t imagineSoldiers and people who are lobbying for these kinds of attitudes, would ever survive against Russian or Chinese soldiers who would be savage to you no matter what and tear you down to the very basic level of humanity. I don’t think any other female soldiers would feel very equal, if they were to be captured and used by Russian soldiers. This is just one of the things our armed forces seem to be unable to fight against due to impossible levels of four left opinions that spit in the face of reality, and I think our government knows this. And that’s why they are not prepared to ever send us against a real military that knows that you have to throw all of that out of the window if you are to survive.😞

  38. Wow, they are certainly actually sticking to their promise this time of giving soldiers actual good homes and areas to live in. Certainly better than those the boys got when they came back from the first and second world Wars.👌🏼 You really couldn’t tell the difference here between this and any other large-scale good quality housing project with actual modern facilities that will last and age better over time. This certainly isn’t the housing projects of the 90s and early to thousands. All they need now is some trees and to make sure the whole base runs on green energy (Solar panels on roof which we can clearly not see yet). Something which I imagine will be implemented very soon under new policies. Well deserved to all. Great work here.👍🏼

  40. It is a crying shame how much the RAF has gone down hill, even though their budget is supposed to be going up again, even before the war in Ukraine. The piolets are still as great as ever though. At least as far as we know with sadly so little actual first had experience now over a real conflict zone.

  41. Yes it is definitely a big relief that according to this, it actually means the US is sending over 1000 switchblade drones rather than 100. As the earlier announcement made it seem like 100 units meant 100 switch blades. Apparently there are actually 10 loitering munitions per unit so that explains a lot. Just 100 switchblades wouldn’t be nearly enough but still could save some lives. If they can help in the battle to come in the Donbass they will make a big difference again a Russian tank onslaught. We need to make sure that they have arrived NOW.

  45. These guys are just incredible.They’ve done everything our chaps trained for in the British Army and then some. Having to do all of this whilst also in a combat zone and constantly adjusting to the realities of what needs to be done, versus what is simply trained to do. That is something we have lost a lot of the connection too. We can now learn from each other from this.👍🏼💪🏼

  50. This is indeed true. And I have seen many videos of them still operating in other areas of Ukraine along the east and south who are also doing very successful work with the other units and hope they continue to do so. We must continue to try and get those still in Azovstal out of Mariupol, but even if this is unsuccessful, the brothers and sisters in the other regiments and the rest of the Ukrainian forces and volunteers will continue the fight in their name until the war is won.
