We can only hope the majority achieve victory and make it through to the end.
1
@Nick-kb6jd Afraid not mate. Majority against it, including me.
1
It’s just utterly heartbreaking to witness. Everyone’s desperate to get at least one family member back that they dearly wish for it to be true.
1
@dm32904 I intend to see if I can join a group over there with delivering supplies to the forces that need it next month. I graduate next month so will have all of my education out of the way and belongings in storage so will be free to head over there.
1
Yes it is a very good point. Both about the true experience of what a real war is like, plus the whole thing with pay. It would make sense that if it was a three year contract in fact then you would actually be paid for it. After all if it was just three months then people might just be popping in to do a short tour and a little bit of money, but if you are doing three long years then they can know that the person is going to be sticking to the role and is worthy of being paid for it.
1
@SA-hh9mv And yet for the first and second world war, along with the rest of the armies you are allowed to go to war at 18.
1
It certainly is though when the number of refugees trying to cross into the UK, is no longer sustainable. The UK massively needs depopulating in many areas, not bringing in more people. Realistically we can only have the same amount of people coming in now as those who are dying of old age.
1
I couldn’t agree more. We neeeed to do this.
1
Where did you hear THAT? You doooo realise we’re still Europeans right!? We still have obligations between doing what is simply right and wrong. Supporting them as one of them, and it is right.
1
@britnatzaredemocracydenier5922 Britain did really well and the best it could in Afghanistan under those conditions. GET OVER IT.
1
Uuuuum! have you seriously not heard of hydrogen before!?🤨 how old are you exactly? You do realise right we can use hydrogen now to make steel. The first plants have already opened up in Europe and we have an opportunity in the coming years to try and lead in Europe in the next steel innovation area, but instead we are going back to Cole! more specifically, we can use green hydrogen, for those who make that bullshit claim the hydrogen is worse. There are different types of hydrogen that have different colours associated to them for the way in which they are created. Blue hydrogen is one form but the most desired one is green hydrogen, which is used by extracting hydrogen from water using green sources.

The continuing support from Britain here really is brilliant. I’m glad Rishi and Vlodomir met like this showing the growing friendship between us and Ukraine.
1
Archivian The people of my generation would do a much better job.
1
@MortalKombatSector It is the Russian army that is preventing people from leaving, not Ukrainians.
1
@johnedward3404 Yes I reeeally hope this happens soon.
1
AntPDC They’re nothing but a disruptive fragment of British politics that do nothing for the whole of Britain. How can we even allow a party that even has the word nationalist in their name. I thought we were supposed to get rid of nationalism decades ago.
1
Yeah and that’s probably why Ireland is one of the least liked countries in the world. Although that’s probably also helped by their neutrality during World War II. If Ireland was still totally British I’d imagine the war would’ve been quite a bit shorter.
1
Well, seeing as most likely this launch in the end will be a publicity stunt now, rather than something progressing to something more due to the sanctions and crippling financial problem, It looks like they really are having an effect. They came too far to just stop it now.

We in Britain can see it so clearly. We hope America can see it too, and be forever on the front foot and never give the Republicans an inch anymore. Otherwise they will try and take everything. They are always the Demons under the rock, always prepared to slowly reach the claws out to grow your leg when your back is turned. Never let your Guard down, or they will destroy everything that those who are actually pro-freedom. In taking society forward. I’ve been struggling to bring to reality in the US over all these decades.
1
That is why we need to make sure this new mine opening doesn’t happen no matter what, even if it means taking drastic action. We need to show the world that not only our government level, but also the people at Shio responsible. And if not the government, then the people can be even more responsible by setting an example that the government fails to do. We need to make sure that new coal and all existing coal never happens again.
1
@mrmrgaming Are you so completely insane? What you’re talking about sounds like something from someone many decades ago. Something that needs to be stuffed in the past. I can’t think honestly of any sane person who is employed or not would actually want the planet to suffer further in exchange for getting a basic menial labour job. That’s just going to make them physically suffer in the long run, never really get them anywhere and is going to hurt the planet or make them a pariah. That makes no sense.
1
50% of our own energy created in the UK and surrounding waters goes abroad anyway, so it’s not a case of supplies here. They are just doing it to shore up the amount of money they believe they’re going to lose during the green revolution, and they are doing everything they can to fight it by using the excuse of carbon capture as a partial cover. This license announcement is an absolute disaster that won’t change anything for the British types payers. Especially by the time the stuff is supposed to be shut down anyway. WE NEED TO STOP THIS NO MATTER WHAT.
1
Beautiful to see thisprototype in operation, and seeing so much of it built in the local area.👌🏼🙌🏼 This is what we need to maintain and expand rapidly. This is the way to go. Let’s get this done. Time to upgrade the grid PROPERLY.
1
@ZorbadTheGreat I would.

@simonhool3073 Exactly on point. There are literally many other options apart from just having more children. Let know contraceptives or abortion.😓
1
@PythonesqueSpam Actually they are still correct on this. Just because we aren’t having enough children, doesn’t mean suddenly that these few people are ‘right’ and they need to ‘pick up the slack for the majority’ and have enough to fill the void.🤨🫠 That makes no sense.😓 Not only will that never work as this’s purely used by some people as a statement piece, but these few people who have too many children will just suffer in the long-term as a result, unless they’re very well off to support what is in the Western society of influence right now a VERY large number.
1
YES. We need to get our ‘Challenger 2’ tanks over there ASAP. It can’t be anything less. They’re the best we can give right now and they’ll make the biggest difference.
1
That is really good to hear. We get it shovelled down our throats all the time down here and constantly worried that the SNP is going to try and drag up another referendum and that Scotland might actually leave the union. I don’t think it’s going to happen though. Not after last time. I wish they would stop going on about it down here then and just continue on as normal. Although, what’s normal these days anyway. Thanks for the reassurance.
1
@dirtydawg448 Could be true mate, although I think I do speak for actually the majority of people in England who say that we don’t want Scotland to leave the union. I think you’re just spouting a bit of bad rhetoric there. Scotland made its choice before and quite frankly probably avoid a terrible disaster. Both culturally, internationally and financially.
1
We don’t need coal.. That’s what is so insane. Even in the metallurgy process we can actually use new techniques now that don’t require coal to be introduced. It’s only backwards thinking people who only want to do what they can understand in their tiny brains that are making this decision. We need to prevent this new coal mine from opening the matter what. Even the mer symbol of it opening is a disaster for our negotiations on preventing climate change around the world. Even if it means somebody taking drastic action, I will approve it if it means that I’m stopping this.
1
I hope so. I didn't know about this clash so hope I can find an update somewhere.
1
He actually did that regularly throughout the first lockdown. I don’t think we can blame him for not doing it again for the second one, especially with him now self isolating.

@LunarMycelium She really is a totally hypocrite.

@bobikzielarz Abram tanks would be a bad desition. They aren't good.

Years and yeeears ago.

Fraser McFadyen The SNP! So childish
1
@roni2977 Sorry, but you have that completely backwards. You are in the minority.

The war has actually basically been going on for 8 years. It's only now that it has fully ranped up to this stage with FULL Russian forces leading the charge.

Thank you for saying so. All the love from all of us down south. And I couldn’t agree more. It’s the worst possible time for her to be bringing up an independence referendum and she knows it. Not just because it’s bad timing and she’s trying to slip it in while everyone else is focused on the impact of sanctions, fuel and the war in Ukraine, but I won’t be surprised if she’s trying to abuse it just to point fingers and say it’s all England’s fault to try and win a referendum. Basically less so bad timing and more smart evil timing. Very heartbreaking to say the least, but there is a chance that the courts will still shoot her desire down here. I truly wish us in England could have a say on the independence referendum as well, considering it also impacts us, but understand that it’s not likely to happen. I hope everyone in Scotland realises once again just as in 2014 the importance and severity of such a decision and shoot down this vote once again. After this, it will finally silence it once and for all. At least for perhaps 50 or 100 more years. ❤️ 🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪=🇬🇧

@bakaremichael1351 You can sign up on the website either by searching your local embassy or actually going to the Ukrainian embassy in your country itself and they will help you.

Now this is good journalism right here. This is the reality we are all facing now. And it’s only going to get worse. If this wasn’t an issue on the US election board before, it certainly is now. We can only hope now that people who had doubts before will start to learn ‘in time’.
