  22. I guess it was inevitable really that a situation like this would come along with the law being so recently changed. They really need to get this sorted out sooner. Still though, even with all of this it is still absolutely appalling the way the police acted. I guess that’s American policeman for you. Never wish to listen to anyone apart from their own authority, sometimes of which they just impose upon themselves.

In all honesty though, this is exactly the reason why people in the US shouldn’t be allowed to own big exotic pets like these. That includes the massive trade in lions and tigers. Like, seriously people, they are out of control over there with the amount they’ve got in captivity. There should really be a mandate in the next presidency that all privately owned big cats should either be put into breeding sanctuaries so that their young can one-day return to the wild, or all of them can be sterilised so this industry can slowly come to an end.
