Seeing the horribly destroyed An-225 in the background feels very poignant for this interview here. A very powerful message to send. I also believe that one day, like the people of Ukraine, another Antonov-225 will be built and the country will take to the skies again.

If it means stopping this from happening, I will gladly resurrect her.

Well, actually as the climate is changing itwill. The days in summer are getting hotter so solar panels will help reduce much of excess sunlight that eventually hits the plants below, but not too much, as solar panels as they don’t fully cover them up, so on average grass actually does pretty damn well. Including multiple other crops. This combined use of farming is increasing now month by month across Europe.

We’ve been saying this since the first week. The cowardice of our governments is just beyond the pale now considering what the general public feel. The nuclear threat is there, but Putin keeps forgetting we have them as well. If we did go in, he still wouldn’t use them because he will just be destroyed anyway. His very argument to keep us away is also the very thing we can use back at him. NATO needs to go into Ukraine right now.

@mosnackbar4121 Then I will be voting labour straight away. I have been a Tory supporter all of my voting life, so far, except for one time when I voted green party, but now, if it means stopping them and actually making us commit to our green targets, then I will vote labour. Honestly, I think labour now really is the answer, and that is something I never thought I’d say before. From what I’ve seen of labours green targets, they seem like the answer now sadly.

@BluntsmithThePackWizard your comment is like so many others. Completely pie in the sky and utterly short minded. Even if this thing was to open up, by the time it actually did so, it would already be made redundant again. So literally, pointless.

Good to see our troops out there working with the Estonians and French troops. Guess not directly with Ukrainian ones right now to avoid further Russian escalation but bound to be happening eventually anyway. We are all going to have to be sending far more troops out there if we are to resemble anything of a force capable of holding back the Russian army and eventually pushing back. If Russia does try to move in and we only stop them at a stalemate, they’ll put all the military mate behind them to entrench themselves in and we won’t get them out for years.
1
IKR. He absolutely nailed it.
1
It looks like it’s finally time to just give up and destroy America. We in the rest of the world have given up on the US. Well...we actually did that looong ago.
1
Well, I support them. And I will be getting a COVID Pass.
1
@allaroundme5429 Oh yeah, hate on them for doing the right thing! That tooootally makes sense!😓🖕🏼

It is very much needed and it’s great we are finally sending help on this scale out there, although I do feel honestly that this feels a bit more like an excuse to finally get a proper carrier fleet out there during this unstable time. We haven’t responded in any necessary way to how China has been acting or what has happened in Myanmar. China threatening the South China Sea and it’s own minority populations, ‘we do nothing’, Myanmar’s diplomatic government is overthrown in the military coup, ‘we do nothing’, but there is another wave of Covid in India, and then we finally send our Navy!? It is good that we are responding, but it feels more like it is a more reasonable excuse/reason to get our fleet out there that can start having a more long-term presence in Asia to deal with the situation. Not complaining on that front of course. We should’ve sent the fleet out ages ago, but at least in this case we can kill two birds with one stone. Offence not intended. Does make me wonder though how many Royal Navy Destroyers will be accompanying HMS Queen Elizabeth to Japan though, as the fleet that seems to be planned to go there with her is a bit hodgepodge right now!

Unlike Donald bloody Trump, Boris Johnson‘s words couldn’t be more clear. This man was definitely the right and only one for the job at this time.
1
It must be so much more relaxing for the Japanese working person now to be able to work from home rather than constantly worrying about getting to work on time and dealing with very congested commuter travel.
1
Wishing them all the best of luck. Hope we get more volunteers in the coming days. They can be the spark that lights the torch with more to follow. Good luck to them and Slava Ukraine.
1
Arcadi Moral Interesting...veeeery interesting.😆
1
New King Yeah. That’s both right and wrong. Sure thing
1
It’s not exactly what people are saying about him and Trump as well? People really need to make up their damn minds already.
1
Dammit. And I thought private industry was currently responding faster to the climate change emergency more than the governments were!? Absolute shame. Airport should be modernising, not expanding. Just because China is doing it doesn’t mean everyone should follow suit. China is not a good example of how we should be living our lives. All except their ever expanding electric transit and car system.
1
I read and think the numbers was close to the US as were shown here until now. I thought they where we’ll ahead. Although that will most likely happen within the next few weeks considering how lag they have been with their policies.
1
D. THEN...LET IT COME TO A HOLT.
1
Oh god yes pretty much here.
1
GOD DAAAAMN IIIIT😫. Well what else did we expect. I guess Putin is just hoping the situation will die away with him locked away in prison than him being released and rallying up the masses even more. Such a disappointment. Hopefully this will not be the case though and the people will fight Putin even more on this. The situation has gone beyond Navalny. This is about him and the freedom of the Russian people.😡
1
In my eye, frankly, it really goes to show that although praying brings people a lot of comfort, it also at the same time does absolutely nothing. We all know this day America still clings sometimes very irrationally to religious faith when other countries populations in general have more grown up ormoved on, and I believe America really does need to do the same. Try more actually fixing things both inside and out and rebuild, rather than falling into something, that in the end does not exist.
1
By protecting Ukraine’s borders, we’re also protecting our own. If we don’t, Russia will just end up moving through more of Europe and endanger us further.
1
WHYYYYYY!?/?😳🥵
1
God Elon seriously doesn’t have the ability to hold back now does he.😓 Duuude at least give it a day to think before responding. Thought he actually might somehow get along with Farage.😔
1
That’s the point. Not only are these meant to help Ukraine, which they will, they are meant to help alleviate the worries of our mainland European neighbours as being the 1st to take that leap, which will make them feel confident and safe to do the same. This will be an event she had up to potentially 100 if not hundreds of tanks in Ukraine.
1
Ooooh that’ll be gooood. Good luck trying to hide THAT ONE from the Russian people.
1
Honestly though, I do think there should be some limits. I’m nooot an absolutist.
1
This’s all just soo unbelievable. Why, WHY THE HELL AREN’T ANY OF OUR GOVERNMENTS DOING ‘ANYTHING’.
1
These investments are very much needed on a large scale and is a big relief to hear.👏🏻
1
And hopefully this time it will only take the people with brains on board and leave literally everyone else behind to die.👌🏼
1
These people are absolutely nuts. For some reason they seem to think that US problems are also UK problems. We should be protesting via social media at the appalling actions that are happening in the US. Not protesting and risking the health and integrity of the UK by gathering in huge unprotected crowds and attacking unarmed police. It seems like to them, if 10 people were all shot, and just one of those was a black man, then they would believe that the Black man was shot because of racism. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. This does seem to be the case in the US, BUT THAT IS NOT SO IN THE UK. We need to put these things into perspective now.
1
Hahahahahaha😆
1
Of course they’re trying to push it back by 10 years to 2060. 10 years from now they’ll push it back another 10, and then again and again and again.
1
From Great Britain, big congratulations Canada. Hope he does well.
1
We need to help Ukraine to get into NATO and safe no matter what.
1
I guess this only makes sense. This will surely encourage more people to actually get there vaccines if it means them getting to the Pub.😆😆
1
LawlessLee THAT’S THE POINT. The less guns in the hands of average citizens the better. That’s literally what the US needs to do. This is the first of many steps the US needs to take in order to join the civilised world.
1
What he’s saying really makes a lot of sense.
1
No, just a burgeoning population of idiots who would prefer things go back to normal over their own safety.
1
@afgor1088 That is amazing. Would’ve been wonderful if this dream had become a reality.
1
@MrObliviousegg That is impossibly disturbing and sickening.😨😓 It’s like these people don’t seem to realise they are forcing things backwards but in a different form.
1
I truly believe the Ukrainians and all the volunteers will be able to hold and bush back the Russian forces when they eventually make it to the cities. And I think we can all be sure that they won't loose the sea ports without a bloody good fight. SLAVA UKRAINE
1
F U CCP. Taiwan for the win.
1
Well, it’s not like this is the first time a US president, vice president or former president has had their life threatened by a bullet. It is the way of your country sadly.
1
Is this another bitcoin out or something!?😒
1
We all must do our bit in whatever ways we can.
1
@rey3080 Said but true. They need more international volunteers but better would actually be NATO full force.
