  6. This is indeed what we’ve been arguing about for ages. By now we could’ve easily have trained tens of dozens of Ukrainian crews on US made M1 tanks but that have just been left mothballed and covered in dust in the US that would usually just be destined for scrap. Very little work would be needed to get them ready for action. We should’ve been doing this ages ago and needs to be happening right now.

  8. I couldn’t agree more. It would be worthy justice and the best way long-term for this to end. It would show that Russia is actually capable of dealing with its own problem for once, and that Putin won’t become some sort of a martyr and that it wasn’t done by an outside influence murdering their leader. The only other option would be for a Ukrainian person to do it themselves IN PERSON.

  12. I will have to make a note of visiting Lviv after the war is over. I truly hope that this city does not meet the same fate as other cities have in the east of Ukraine. If beautiful old buildings like these do get destroyed, which I think even the Russians would not wish to witness, then The country will lose a part of its soul. Much like art, architecture is also a big part of one’s identity. It is something worth fighting for. We learned this in WWII, and we must make sure it doesn’t happen again. Fight on Ukraine and push these bastards back. We believe in all of you.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

  22. Honestly, from what I've seen, there doesn't really seem like much merit to ban Thermobaric weapons. They to me just seem like a better form of explosive in that is more efficient with its payload. No real point to get rid of it. If anything it might make more sense to just level the playing field and have MORE NATIONS build them.

  23. They can easily use a wide range of weapons. They aren’t all Soviet era. Plus ammunition like bullets is very much interchangeable so they would be alright there too.

  25. This is absolutely horrific. Now if there was indeed a no-fly zone then perhaps the convoy with humanitarian aid could’ve gotten in. This is also though most definitely a result of the Ukrainians not being able to get enough air power to protect the convoy on its way to the city. This by extension is obviously our own nations faults for not getting the missiles there or even the MiG-29 that they desperately needed that we promised they would have. I desperately hope they can get the remaining citizens who are unable to fight out of the city soon. They are doing everything they can right now and the least we can do is actually make sure that they get the aid and weapons they need on time. Our governments need to stop stalling and actually turn their words into visible action.

If he burned it then perhaps there genuinely was a chance then that people talking on Instagram had a chance at killing him eventually. Doubt he will be able to take it down though. He said it was banned. He never said he could actually stop people from using it. We fully support the everyday people of Russia as well as those in Ukraine who desperately wish to return to the country after the war is over. If any Russians are listening to this who genuinely care about the future of their own country as well as the rest of Europe, please do everything in your power to stop your president Vladimir Putin at all costs. Either have him arrested under citizens arrest and get him out of the country so he can be trialled for war crimes, or do what must be done and you guys have him killed as soon as possible. Once this is over you will not be prosecuted (I mean why would you) and you will be seen as true heroes of the free world. How is it going over there by the way? We haven’t heard much news coming out about any losses or successes in terms of the resistance against the Vietnamese military this year!

It probably could’ve helped out a lot during the earlier colonial days.I know obviously plenty of us back then were educated in French and the other what were considered classical languages back then so I imagine plenty of us were still able to read the book, but the fact that it took so long to be put into English is rather surprising.

Iraq was a bit of a screwup, but Afghanistan was exactly the right thing to do and it’s not the West’s fault that it couldn’t achieve enough victories to make a difference.

  43. Well, there's no actual garainty though that Russia WILL BRAKE the no fly-zone area. It's just a possibility. And it might also be that he just hopes then that if Russia does do that and we have to shoot the plane down (which we should be doing right now everyday anyway) then it will bring us properly into the conflict so we can end the fighting fast by stopping the whole Russian army with the backing of all of Europe and allied nations, including those in the British Commonwealth.

  45. Brilliant effort by all of the volunteers. It looks like the protection will really pay off. Can’t believe how high it’s all been piled up right to the top of the statues. It must be really hard to figure all that out to make sure it doesn’t just all come toppling down. In the end though it will be worth it. We had the same thing in Britain when all of our valuable monuments had to be covered up during WW2 and was so worth it in the end to see them unveiled again when it was safe to do so.   49. I couldn't agree with you more. She has more that stood up to be one of are nations greatest ever Monarchs and Britons as a whole. She has apparently repeatedly compared herself to Victoria in how she can live up to that legacy in the face of such huuuge (some will same massively negative) change to has happened to our country in the later part of the 20th century and the pressure that comes with it (when Victoria lived in the time of good change and expansion), but we feel that she has more than stood up to the challenge and been stronger because of it. I truly do believe she has a few more good years left and will support her all the way.

Not only have potentially dozens or hundreds of lives lost, but also a distinct piece of the city’s architecture has now been lost.
