  1. I think you mean ‘if Ukraine does not GET EU membership’. Remember it is Ukraine that has applied for membership to the EU. Really do hope they get it though. Once that happens then they can hopefully become members of NATO and after that this can all be prevented. That is so long as the aid going into the country can eventually push the Russians back.

The only way we can fix even a liiiittle bit of what has happened here, is to do what is FUCKING RIGHT. Please, any government out there who actually have the balls to do it as Ukraine has, stand up and actually FIGHT.

  7. Who ever said he would be getting off Scot-free? He has faced the person who he has wronged right here in the courtroom as well. It seems that everything has been done very well to the letter here under the circumstances. Many of the Russian soldiers are bad, but others are just simply complicit in those actions and others don’t wish to be there at all but they having to do their job because they have no other choice. What that percentage is, we do not know, and probably will never know the full extent until long after the war is over. Many will face trials, but it cannot be unilateral and will definitely still have to be on a case-by-case basis. This will take a long long time, but in the end, justice must be done the right way.

  8. He is 100% right. We should all be ready, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do what is right. We need to keep helping Ukraine and keep pushing on no matter what. Otherwise the alternative is possibly decades of isolation all over again.

It has been waaaay to long now when America had slaves for faaar longer than the UK ever did hope was in fact a champion of freedom in the world in spite of having an empire. Britain doesn't owe an apology, let alone reparations. But should still obviously continue to support the islands and other nations of the Commonwealth as best it can and vise versa.

  11. I really do worry about our Queen all the time now, even though she continues to put on a well composed appearance. She is still indomitable even at the hardest times though and I truly believe Her Majesty still has many good years ahead of her. God Save the Queen

  12. Honestly, it’s very risky, but it’s not a bad idea. Take them out from above and the sides rather than just waiting for them to come into the city after destroying so much for it anyway.

  16. Yep, one right here. I will support Her Majesty and the Royal family right to the end. They are only Human and even the lower members down the line can be forgiven in the end. We are only Human after all. Expecting them to be perfect is just too much in the 21st century now without just becoming per torcher. They really are doing the best they possibly can to stay on side, and they deserve our respect for that on its own.

  18. What an earth are you talking about. NATO is always just a cover for Putin to get what he wanted. He just wants to rebuild what was once there needs more land in order to do it, and Ukraine is a huge part of that. Is a huge provider of crops as well as oil and gas. If he could take that then he can massively restore bits of what he needs in order to expand further. Well, that isn’t exactly working out so well for him now is it. If he truly invaded another sovereign nation because they wanted to join a territorial defence organisation that looks for everyone within the group, then perhaps we really should’ve made sure they were able to join sooner and then fought back against Russia anyway. A leader who is willing to destroy another and take its freedom just because they want to be in a defensive group of like-minded nations, truly shows you are not a well-intentioned nation (or leader) after all.

  21. I’m just constantly thinking the exact same thing. With all the guns that have been handed out so far you would think that all of these Russian soldiers on the streets would’ve been burning and killed by now. It just goes to show really how big this country really is and how long it can take for resources to be filtered out. The people will eventually get sick of staying locked indoors though by these invaders and will probably start taking the Russians out one by one though.

  22. For Goooood SAKE PEOPLE just give them the tanks ALREADY. If Putin really was going to attack a NATO country over weapons supplies we would've done so as soon as the first small arms deliveries came in. Big or small, unless it comes to his own missiles, it doesn;t matter to him. It is soooo awesome how Ukraine has been able to get so many tank from the Russian forces and hope this continues, but you can only pimp out an old tank so much with modern equipment. They NEEEED our tanks NOW. I mean we have some of the best tanks in the world in Europe and we can EASILY spare a few to them that would be much easier to learn than a newer fight jet that can take 'months to learn'. We can do this people. I soooo want at least my government in the UK would give them some of our Challenger 2 tanks, or even a Challenger 3 prototype if we have any so far. With the way things are going and our lack of action, they are going to need it in Ukraine A LOT MORE than we're even going to. With British and Germans tanks together in Ukraine, paired properly with 'actual' infantry support and drones for reconnaissance, they could be unstoppable. Pleeease let us get this done. If not then lets 'at least' have some ex-Royal Engineers and top end mechanics and technicians from across Europe and the US head over there (if they are willing to help) and see if they can help with some MUCH NEEDED UPGRADES to these Russian clunkers.   28. I think we can very much agree based on this neither side will come to a proper agreement on either sides demands. Let’s hope though that the second round of talks do indeed happen ‘soon’. This cannot be aloud to continue with such destruction and loss of lives.

  33. This is horrific beyond description. The Russians truly are now taking their tactics they used in Syria to Ukraine. They are probably also using this now to make sure that they don’t end up getting killed or surrender if they try to go into the cities in just on the vehicles. They’re trying to pummel them first to make sure their troops don’t give in. Fuck you Putin slave bastards. I know you could be in danger of being executed or imprisoned if you rebel against your generals, but for fuck‘s sake you’ve Gotta know what you are doing is clearly wrong here. It’s happening right before you. Ukraine, please for the love of all that is right don’t give up. Get out of the cities if needs be and take the fight straight to the rocket launches and all of their firing locations. Fortifying insider cities won’t work if they are just pummelled. SLAVA UKRAINE.   34. I really hope that Ukraine will be getting new fighter jets soon now. We haven't heard any news since a few whispers a few days ago. Fingers crossed they're just trying to make sure the Russians don't find out until it is too late.
