@sting0262 Why are they the ones so against divorce then? What are they worried about if they stay together so much? :)
2
"wait 30m to then get up say something mean to me and leave" Are you for real wtf hahaha I'm sorry this happens to you but take some comfort in knowing you pissed off some awful people
2
@TheWiggum123 "acknowledging systemic influence is ironic if you're a leftist" ok
2
Because they're trying to enforce their standards, is the short answer
2
If there was no state, the closest thing we have to states would re-invent the state. So what's your solution to the problem, Shawn?
2
@ShawnThomas Do yourself a favour and do a search for the term 'intersectionality' Thank me later
2
Trump was the most powerful man in the world and chose not to wind down US intervention across the planet, he also bombed Iraq to kill a general of a country we aren't even at war with!
2
The goal is to stop supporting genocide. You can get on board any time you want. You don't need to do this with your life.
2
"Is that how you think America exploits other countries in the modern day? Are you living in 1810" Just so you're aware the USA froze the assets of an entire nation recently, and now millions of people risk starving to death because the country cannot actually import anything.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq "Yeah so when I was talking about one dimensional political takes, that's pretty much exactly what I'm talking about" I'm sorry if 'killing millions of people is wrong actually' is too simplistic for you "They probably just froze all the assets because they're like really greedy right?" Doesn't matter why. Nothing justifies barbarity on this scale. The people who will suffer did nothing wrong.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq "you do understand that that's the fault of the Taliban right" Unless the Taliban are infiltrating the US government to pull this off, I don't see how. " Why are you putting responsibility on those who react instead of the people who aggress" Which nation spent nearly 20 years invading the other again? "How do you feel about all the people the Taliban murder for being progressive or gay" Interesting line of argument. So citizens should die en masse if their leadership does bad things? Your thirst for war crimes aside, you realise the USA leadership has done far worse than the Taliban ever will, right?
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq "Sanctions are an important way to get countries to stop pressing their people because even the citizens of the country know what needs to happen in order for the sanctions to end" So you're telling me that it's actually good to starve millions of people if it forces them to attack your enemy? Congrats! You're an irredeemable monster! "Al-Qaeda with support of the Taliban bombed the United States" Wow I can't believe they would just do that for no reason Hey remind me who funded and armed these groups in the 1980's again? " the 20 year occupation isn't very relevant when talking about if we should give the Taliban money." I'm not saying we should give them money. I'm actually opposed to giving them money. I am saying - looting poor countries is wrong. "The difference is America changes with every administration" It's had the same two parties forever, it's not that different and Henry Kissenger isn't in jail somehow.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq In the USA's case a good start would be to stop destabalising other countries, assassinating their leaders and funding coups against progressive parties. And also stop supporting nations engaged in ongoing genocide Just some tips there, a few ideas to get started
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq Seems like it answers it pretty well to me. If the USA hadn't interfered with Afganistan and Russia we would have better leadership in both.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq Have you considered diplomacy
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq The thing is, I'm right. Diplomacy could have solved all of these problems. You don't agree? I don't care, your 'solution' was the murder of millions of civilians who hadn't done anything wrong. Your opinion doesn't matter.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq "first of all those civilians haven't been murdered at all, they're just hungry" Real quick, what happens to hungry people again? "Second of all if the United States were to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan there is no way the Taliban would allow it" Have you any idea how many people the USA killed in Afganistan Of course they're not welcome back "And third what if they say no to your diplomacy? Because you have no leverage" Newsflash: The Taliban kill their own people. Threatening to kill people doesn't scare them. They do it all the time anyway! So you're just wasting human life and pretending the Taliban will be 'forced' to change. "It's wild to me that you think you figured out the answer better than every country in the entire world" Can we stop for a moment and appreciate the fact that we're not discussing complicated economic theory, but rather the question "is killing millions of people bad or good?" "You don't think maybe there are some people who are smarter than you about this stuff in governments across the entire world?" Hey do me a favour: Look up the UN resolution on "right to food" and tell me which governments voted to support it and which didn't. Notice a pattern? Notice how almost every country is on my side, and only a couple are on yours? "Maybe you should spend more time asking why things happen rather than criticizing them on their face." It happened because the USA wants to kill as many Afgans as possible and use their money to distribute to US citizens. This isn't complicated.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq You're advocating for the deaths of huge numbers of people, I don't give a fuck if you take me seriously or not. "You think the answer is just diplomacy whatever that is supposed to mean here" In this case it would mean giving Afganistan its stolen money back "you're not giving the Taliban any agency over their own country, as if the money the US is holding (which you have no evidence they've spent any of) is the only way that Afghanistan could give food to its citizens" How do you propose they do it without money "The US is not starving people, it's refusing to give money to the Taliban." It's Afganistan's money! Not a 'gift'. It's money the USA was holding (because they invaded Afganistan)
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq "I'm advocating for the Taliban to feed their people" Can't do that if the USA stole all their money can they? " Kind of weird how you support a hostile, none democratic takeover of a country" What are you talking about? I've never supported the USA "They also probably have more money than what the US has." So your accusation is now "The Taliban are starving everybody on purpose" Which interestingly makes the strategy of sanctions redundant, doesn't it? It does, huh.
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq "I don't know man it sounds at this point that you're really pro Taliban" This is a lie, recognise that you have resorted to lying to maintain your genocidal position. "considering that you think the Taliban is just going to use that to feed the people" Well this wasn't happening in the year 2000, so clearly yes. " by the way I looked it up and apparently half of the money is already being used to alleviate the crisis there" Read it again. They only said they were going to. By the way, what is the other half being used for? Go on, you looked it up right? Where is all that money going? "Also the Taliban is the one rejecting the deals!" Yeah I think you'll find most people don't want to deal with looters
2
@Jonathan-gk8jq If somebody steals all your money and says "I'll buy you some food, on the condition you don't get to touch the money" would you say that was a good deal? Can't help but notice you're ignoring what the other half of the money is being used for, almost like you actually know but can't face up to the shame of acknowledging it.
2
That doesn't make genocide ok
2
You didn't watch the video lmao 'cops will be nice in low crime areas' My dude, cops can be caught red-handed for crimes like rape and murder, and their buddies will STILL kick the shit out of anybody who protests it
2
The problem with reformism is that we've tried it for over 100 years, and it keeps failing for the same reasons. Capitalism is constantly trying to do the opposite of what we need, and in the long run it can't lose.
2
@genmaicha.lapsang "weeeh everybody who disagrees with me should leave weeeh" Let's make a deal - when capitalists stop invading other countries, I'll shut up and go somewhere else.
2
lmao you people get so mad at black people existing Like, you don't even need to be here! You could go outside! Instead it's "ohhh I'm gonna find somewhere I know black people are gonna be and OOOH NOW IM MAD"
2
@zekayman Coming back after three days to let everybody know how Not Mad you are
2
That's great Evan, watch the video tho
2
Every few years cities across the nation break into riots BECAUSE of police and prisons. Your 'solution' is CAUSING the breakdown you're afraid of.
2
We've had mass shootings, terrorist attacks and serial killers targeting specifically black people in that timeframe "ONE pro-racist march that showed that the right, including Trump supporters, wanted nothing to do with racists" The trump supporters rocked up to the march with all the swastikas and thought "Yeah, this is the place alright!" You're a liar.
2
Capitalism is about to end the world but ok andy
2
My brother in christ He seized power in a coup and ruled for decades with absolute authority
2
@ShiningSta18486 Deeply fucked up that you would try to laud the personal austerity of a man who lavished himself with the most ostentatious displays of wealth he could. He was, by definition, a dictator. People were literally executed for dissent. None of this is exaggarated or made up. Idk why you'd go out of your way to defend somebody as mid as Gadaffi anyway but at least own what you're defending
2
@DigitalStore33 No, see this is actually more racist, not less. Africa is home to a huge variety of nations and cultures, and the refusal to acknowledge this has directly led to massive numbers of African people getting killed. To say "nah, they're all just one big blob called 'black'" is fucked up. American Black culture on the other hand, was invented in what is now the USA. It had to be invented, because the people who invented it were not allowed to take their original culture with them. Slaves had been forced to forget all aspects of whatever culture they were originally from. But it's not an 'African' culture - no African nation is like that. Anyway, to answer your original question: Why do you think Belgian chocolates are associated with Belgium? Why do you think we associate Mongolian throat singing with Mongolia? What about Kpop? The answer is that we typically associate things with the place where they were first popularised.
2
@Cacademon646 So if somebody stole your car and sold it, you shouldn't get the car back under any circumstances? It would be stealing to return the car to you? Brainworms. Absolute fucking brainworms.
2
@Cacademon646 Perfectly fine with causing harm to genocide advocates, which is what you necessarily are if you oppose land back
2
@Cacademon646 "The conflation of the two is solely due to Professor Flowers's inability to denounce mass deportation" Actually the conflation is due to people like you who choose to conflate them
2
@VileSentry "Also, and I shouldn't have to explain this, shooting anyone that commits a crime is a really stupid solution." Does it seem like an excessive and brutal solution which makes society worse, not better? Now you understand prison abolition
2
@VileSentry Guy who reads 10% of a book and complains there's no ending
2
@VileSentry There's no amount of passive-aggressive shitposting you can do that will deflect from the fact that you saw ahead of time how long the video is. In the time you have since spent whining about it, you could have searched for a shorter video, or like...googled it lol
2
It's got nothing to do with evil and corruption, companies are forced to seek the highest profit possible. Companies that don't get the highest profit can't grow as fast, and they die because investments are then made elsewhere. So even if 100% of company owners were good people and not corrupt/greedy, NOTHING would change.
2
The right-wing got everything it wanted for the past 50 years, conceded nothing, and after seeing a single trans kid say "can I play sports on the school team" decided the entire government must be controlled by maoists ahahahahaha
2
@painunending4610 We all get old, so I hope you have other things to fall back on before that happens!
2
Even if you got the funding, the police are still going to be violent.
2
@bartcop2742 If attending class is a right, how come you have to pay a lot of money to do it? Yeah you didn't think of this for more than five seconds did you?
2
"Look who cheers and justifies and excuses mass shootings" I'm gonna be 100% real with you here I've only ever seen right-wingers do that, although most conservatives are obviously against mass shootings.
2
I've now listened to FD speak about hip hop more than I have listened to hip hop this year I should really give it a shot huh
2
" Aren't we all talking english although that's a white language? Aren't we all wearing clothes invented by white culture using tech invented by white culture, etc.? Why is that ok" Well just as a reminder, everybody uses those things because everybody who chose not to was beaten or shot I mean that's the crucial difference here, black Americans were literally not allowed to speak the language of their ancestors. Same with clothing, even today the cops will look at black people differently if they dress 'too' black. Kids still get forced to shave off their hair if it's not in a European style. Hell, I'M white and my native language was literally illegal for a while.

Hi Zane Put it like this: Success is 90% failure. How many times did you fail before getting something right? The same idea applies here. We have to keep trying, and keep learning from our mistakes. Even if we fail! Because socialism, even at its worst, is still far superior to capitalism. Millions of people are starving and dying of preventable disease every year, arms companies are lobbying for new wars so that they can get richer, and tens of millions of people are about to die from a climate disaster. We quite literally could not be doing worse right now. Even a failed socialism will save countless lives.
2
@hirohitoeudes6427 "republicans are leftist" Your brain is rotting. Read a book, pull yourself out of whatever weird rabbithole you live in. "but neo-communism, aka wokism, replaces the bourgeoisie with - especially assertive, straight, male... - Whites as scapegoat whose sacrifice will bring about a Heaven on Earth, where the Last shall be First" This doesn't even make SENSE
