  11. do NOT rub your eyes at all if you get glowstick contents in them. all glowsticks have reactive chemicals sealed in small glass vials inside the stick, when you bend them, the vials break to release the contents that then react to produce light. you get the liquid in your eye it means the sealed plastic case is ruptured, which means you might have small glass particles in your eye. great way to screw up your cornea if you rub broken glass in your eyes. also a small problem for swallowing, as even though the glass particles will be small, they could cause significant abrasions to your esophagus or stomach lining.
