All
evidently being a childish tourist with money is all the people running the reserve care about any more.
5
@Adam-im3uz you first.
4
@278steve sorry, but your reasoning is all wrong. interfering like those idiots did is just as like to distract the cat as the hyenas. and also... you have NO idea of the relative population sizes of leopards vs hyenas in that reserve, but you want to pretend knowing they are endangered in fucking RUSSIA has meaning. you fail. just stop.
4
it's catching that ON CAMERA that is the epic part. duh.
4
it's the circle of liiifffeee...
4
@maridiancrest243 but it was the big one that let it go first. that one easily could have carried on and torn that wildebeest apart. it did not. just let it go. I don't doubt the water levels are low right now, but that is not the entire explanation. Plus, I have seen large crocs hunting even OUT of the water entirely so...
4
@ariforu4 correct. looks like they stole this one.
4
why do the park rangers let people get so damn close. it's stupid in every possible way. not good for the lions, not good for the people.
4
@MrAtrox98 not necessarily. homosexuality is as common in most other species as it is in our own.
4
Cheetah have existed for tens of thousands of years just as you see them. Obviously, their style of hunting works fine
4
Now Google civet coffee.
4
Dumbest comment.
4
🙄
4
Hilarious how much anthropomorphic debate was had in this thread
4
@vicmackey4606 nonsense. complete and utter twaddle.
3
yeah, that looks about right.
3
@mrapic6886 nope. That's a bullshark. they move between fresh/salt water and are not uncommonly found having swum up African rivers and lakes. also known for attacking people in rivers in Africa. no glitch.
3
interesting way of "eating" there....
3
those are bullsharks. they're euryhaline, which means they can move easily between salt and fresh water. they are quite common in African rivers and lakes. many recorded attacks on humans in African rivers as well. in this case, the most likely scenario is that the sharks are hunting the fish that hang around the hippos and eat their poop. ah, the circle of life. so beautiful. :)
3
this is what I was thinking too. experienced leopard.
3
nope. ALL cats scent mark. they have a scent gland in their cheeks that produces the scent they mark when they rub their heads on things. including housecats. that's why kitty likes to have their cheeks scratched. really really.
3
large animals are attacked where the skin is the thinnest. and that is around the tail area. easier to make the prey bleed out.
3
@guinnessharvey4476 if it were true that male lions never hunt... there wouldn't be any male lions.
3
they are not supposed to. no interference is the rule in a wildlife reserve.
3
@donderstorm1845 the venom is just another protein, and is immediately denatured by the acids in any stomach, let a lone a croc, which has even stronger stomach acid.
3
No such thing as devils
3
it was dead by the time the video started, but the elephant demonstrated repeatedly how the croc GOT dead during the vid.
3
Just like in the myth of how the elephant got its trunk! seriously dumb croc though. lucky to be alive.
3
more likely that they just happened to be more pissed off atm at the thing they decided to chase.
3
tongue?
3
@TheMightyN Look up "Zambezi shark" you will find that is actually a bull shark.. that swims up rivers in Africa. stop pretending you know things you don't.
3
Dutti is back in a sock puppet. Still spreading misinformation.
3
it is probably a wildlife overpass specifically built to allow wildlife to pass over busy roads.
3
@maridiancrest243 "If it were a bigger crocodile" uh, look again. the first croc that attacked was quite large. more than large enough to handle that beest on its own, even OUT of the water.
3
there were no females in this video. both hippos and both lions were male.
3
I have seen adult rabbits kill rattlesnakes and cats. they can fight plenty. this one was just a baby.
3
hint: he's always angry.
3
@calvinm1866 yup. it's over a year old, and they stole it from a different channel. not the firs time they have done that either.
3
she broke... all of it.
3
So... you somehow think all vaccine donations are only from white people? Interesting.
3
@prehistoriccreature1800 Jesus fucking christ WILL YOU STFU??
2
@metalage9751 he's completely over the edge man. He needs help.
2
elephants. have been for the last 10 thousand years at least.
2
@kovy689 no.
2
I really do not understand why people would spend thousands of dollars to go there to see wildlife... and then try to film it on their fucking cell phones. should be a crime.
2
old age is the leading cause of death of most people... everywhere. people are the second biggest cause of death of most people in Africa. followed closely by mosquitos.
2
Pythons do not posess venom.
2
@missuszad it's a reference to a song.
2
"Like a bridge over troubled monkeys...lions lay me down."
2
it was fine. they photographed it two weeks later.
