Sidenote: It's so strange that her friend who she went out with a few times a week would describe her as "an acquaintance". If that's an acquaintance, then most of us don't have friends.

While she shed real tears, Jean does not come across as believable. She comes across as dramatic. And while Kerri comes across as angry, it's totally understandable. How very sad that Casey seemed to live a very unsettled life with his wife, which also affected his children. I'm so sorry to hear all of these details. 💔

I'm so impressed with all of the women. They are truly amazing: Kathy looked him in the eye on the stand, took a job at a lumber yard to work through her fear of men, watched all of the documentaries about his life, etc. Karen looked him in the eye on the stand, moved back into the Chi Omega House, and went on to lead a happy life. Cheryl got her master's, had a family, and went on to teach dance to the hearing impaired. Bravo, ladies!!!

I'm always confused why people think that wealth and education should equal an emotionally healthy person. People are people no matter their financial status or education.

It's rather disturbing that she's allowed to visit with her daughter. She took Makayla's father away from her. Why should she be allowed a single visit? This woman is a predator, master manipulator, and all around dangerous person. My heart goes out to Greg, Greg's siblings, Michelle's children, and all who loved Greg. 💔

Such a tragedy. Daniel and Mark, two of the good guys, whose lives were ripped short by a completely self absorbed man. The pain Daniel's parents went through and continue to go through is unimaginable.

@1anythingandeverything I had the same thought. That part was definitely glazed over. Poor man. 💔

Her cousin Megan describes what she was like at a younger age. Her account is the most eye opening one I've heard yet. You basically nailed it. She's been like this her whole life but hid behind a mask. Now the mask is off. It all goes back to her sick upbringing. Her mom also wears a mask and pretends that everything was great.

I'm so disgusted by Kathy. It's only fair that her name, face, and job title were shared. She deserves all of the negative attention she will get due to this episode.
68
My heart breaks for Linda's sons. What an absolute nightmare.
62
Of course, Rachel is guilty. Barbara raised her to end up completely self-absorbed.
60
She was "intelligent", but not wise.
58
It was a plea agreement made by the family. While it's totally understandable that they didn't want to go through the trauma of a long trial, it doesn't seem best for society since they're both dangerous.

According to staff, the group allegedly didn't go check on the children that often. I could be wrong, but I thought I heard that it was about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant because the access to the apartments was in the back. (?) If it took even 3 minutes to walk there and then 9 minutes to check in each apartment, then 3 minutes to walk back, it would be a tag team. Once one got back, another would leave. Why not just hire a babysitter?!?!?!

So true. This prosecutor gave Valerie way too much credit. It seems like Leon had finally met his match.
45
And the cops did nothing wrong except for moving the gun. It wasn't their fault that the technology failed. I think there should be improvements in interview rooms, but that's not up to them.
43
@nancynancy4622Â While that's true, she said they hung out 3 times a week. That's not hanging out "from time to time".
42
She comes across as dingy and materialistic to me.
35
@sirvilhelmofyanderland1902 There was no evidence that she was having an affair at that time, though. That also doesn't mean that he didn't deeply love her.
35
It's the current protocol. Hopefully something will change.
33
Same here.
31
@honestyisadyingvirtue Narcissists are not drawn to other narcissists. They look for vulnerable people they can manipulate.
30
@pleasedroses3811 And they all could have afforded babysitters.
30
What an unimaginable loss.

None of the "new evidence" proves her innocence. If you listen to every word he attorneys use, they don't say she was totally innocent. They just try to pick it apart. Example: A neighbor "thought she might have seen Bob riding in a truck with 2 men." Jane said, "If all of that evidence had been shown during the trial..." ALL that evidence? One person saying she might have seen him? Also, the blood that was tested was shown to be his. Who has a horrible bloody nose by the wood stove, goes to bed to let it pour out there, and then turns the mattress over without cleaning it? Jane and her daughter are very strange, at the very least. There may not be sufficient evidence to convict her beyond a reasonable doubt, but that doesn't mean she's innocent.

@whitefreeman5798 What a heartless thing to say. I watch true crime every single day, and most solved cases involve average people. Oftentimes, they involve lower income people. What an insult to say such a thing about a family who is grieving so deeply.
27
Well, he may not be your type, but he was good-looking enough to be in a calendar.
26
@marykay7878 They would have to be supervised. However, having contact with a manipulator of this degree will do far more harm than good. She's still young and can be negatively influenced. It's better that she discuss her mother with family and a therapist. Her mother should have lost the right to see her daughter.
25
It's kind of a low blow to pick on appearances. There's much worse to point out about her.
25
It's way past time that the spouses are held accountable for their part.
25
Plus, she had a dull personality.
24
I had never heard about this case before! It would make a great movie. What a relief that Stanley made it out alive and that he's gone onto better things!!
23
@Moonbunny55 To be fair, some viewers don't understand the meaning of certain sayings. It can be helpful to have the correct saying in order to look up its meaning. I've done that many times, especially with British sayings. Lol
23
That's a horrible thing to say. She wanted to go home, but Kristin refused. Are you suggesting that Margarita should have stayed out late when she was trying to be responsible?
23
@suenevin57 There was zero evidence of her innocence. There simply wasn't enough evidence to convict her beyond a reasonable doubt.
22
It seems like it was much more than just not doing anything. She was a willing participant.
19
@ohreally1997 In this instance, it seems possible that Steven's behavior was more of a reaction to MK's abuse. Like when someone can bring out the worst in you. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that he wouldn't have said those things to another person. Mary Katherine, on the other hand, is dishonest, selfish, and abusive through and through.
19
She's right where she belongs. Shame on her for killing her husband and for putting her sons through all of that trauma. She's always been fake, just like when she "fainted" in court. 🙄 My heart breaks for the sons.

Angelina: "My mom really wanted to marry him, have babies, and a stable family for me." Being a stripper, which is a dangerous occupation, and being involved in a violent relationship is not showing that her daughter was a priority. She described him by his looks and not his character. Big red flag on her part. Not only that, but saying she still loves him after all that happened shows that she learned nothing. Her friend trying to excuse why she stayed in an abusive relationship is disturbing. She was happy he paid her bills. Her daughter should have been her number one priority. No doubt she had family and friends that would have taken her in. It seems sadly clear that her daughter is in denial about her mother's true character. She sees her mother as a victim and nothing more. She's just not willing to face the truth. For her own sake, hopefully that will happen one day. The attorney with the long grey hair said that Stephenie was flawed. "It's easier to have sympathy for those who have a perfect past." No lady, no one expects her to be perfect. She was abusive herself. Her actions aren't those of someone in fear. Those are the actions of someone who is also an abuser. She seemed addicted to drama... at her daughter's expense.
18
What a bunch of drama all around. None of them seem like very upstanding people. There was all kinds of cheating, drinking, abuse, kids in the middle... What a mess!!
18
@LKre-vi5oq I'm guessing you only watched this one video and thought you heard all of the evidence. It's important to use critical thinking skills. If you listen to the "new evidence" and the attorneys' wording, nothing points toward her innocence. There weren't serious flaws. You might want to watch an unbiased video on the case.
18
Lol
18
@SerephimLife It's really interesting that you'd think she's innocent. She shows every sign of being a cold-hearted narcissist. He allegedly didn't agree to buying the house. She allegedly poisoned him the day the house closed. The timing is suspect.
17
The same number of affairs happen in and out of church.
17
He wasn't dragged through the house. It's very likely that her daughter helped her carry and dump the body.
16
@nikki mclay While pedophiles are still real threat to children, that's all the more reason not to leave your children alone in an unlocked and unknown building in a foreign country while you're off partying quite a distance away. That's called gross negligence.
16
Exactly. It's basic gun safety that she would have known. I can't even imagine playing around like that even if I knew for sure that the gun was empty.
16
She wasn't aware of the stipulation that her husband had filed.
16
However, he had confessed to other people who came forward.
16
Dreams often reveal what we're feeling inside. The dream showed that she was more at peace. There's no evidence for the afterlife, but what's important is that she's got some closure now.
