  14.  @SebaztienHawke-ci5hm  there is NO WAY 3/5 captains are women without DEI and corruption at play. I've never met that many women that were that good at tactical, strategic, logistical planning. Yet I know tens of men that do that stuff for fun and are highly skilled at it. There is no way those 3 Captains earned merit based promotions. I've served with women in combat and it was a total disaster. the number of women who can actually handle actual combat are so rare, that i've never actually met one in person myself. but I know they exist. But VERY rare.

  26. the fact the gov thinks younger people can't convert the blueprints to CNC is prime example of how clueless the gov is. I could recreate the drawings in a matter of weeks if they paid enough. I grew up on hand drafting, and just because it's drawn by hand doesn't mean the dimensions or GD&T is any different. reading a print is reading a print, regardless if paper or digital. I actually specialize it redesigning things for making it easier to manufacture. just pay me enough.

  27.  @cjanquart  we have gone away from that, but Captains that lose their ship tend to get mustered out of the service. a ship is worth FAR more than a Captain. Captains can be replaced easily, ships cannot.

  31.  @philroe2363  Yet guys with DNA tests proving they are not the father still get saddled with child support and such.... So, not a fact, but rather your opinion. In Europe they even criminalized men getting DNA tests for this reason.

  34. all of my sisters are married, none of them have girlfriends. or, if they do, they see those friends maybe 1-3x per year. They can't stand women. they never had girlfriends in school growing up either. They hated all the gossip and cruel behavior.

  35.  @natethegr8230  But that isn't equity. Equity is about equal outcomes. Can't have an equal outcome if someone came out on top. On that note, we need to start demanding equity with regards to how much politicians make. Start demanding to them personally, that you expect to get paid the same as them. watch their equity arguments fail then.

The men are actually far more likely to experiment, or try many times to figure out Just the right time/temp to do something to get it to turn out amazing Every time. I have recipes I follow, the first time or two, but by the 3rd or more times, I'm experimenting until I make it a way I prefer it. Many i just go off memory though too, if I cook it enough. A couple of my brothers in law I've never seen them use a recipe once. They simply know what does what, when and why to do it, and they just know how to combine steps to get the effect they desire.
