There are times when you need to speed to pass or to get out of the way of an accident. They also cause traffic congestion when two cars can't pass one another on the freeway.

  7.  @glasshalffull2930  I have, multiple times. but most breakdowns are less a disruption than coming out of a store miles from home finding yourself stranded, and having no way to get your car back quickly. Maintenance and repair is within your control, gov confiscation is not. And Gov depriving you of property without due process under the law is unconstitutional violation. Breakdowns are not.

  17. Right to Repair is EQUALLY as important to freedom as Free Speech is. If I could tweak the US Constitution a bit, I'd make sure to add Right to Repair to the Bill of Rights, and write it in a very sweeping way to prevent corporations from getting around it.

  30. Jury nullification exists because no law is perfect. Each cases deserves to be judged solely on the merits of the specific circumstances under which it occurred. Sometimes a person did the right thing at the right time, even though strictly according to the law what the person did was illegal, not accounting for such a situation. This gives the jurors the authority to declare no wrong even though the strict letter of the law says the action was illegal. This is how our justice system is setup, to account for the fact laws are imperfect. Juries are good things if used correctly, and if people took the responsibility seriously.

  36.  @wildcoyote34  understandable, but a pilot is REQUIRED to know the regulations regarding National Parks and Wildlife areas. And flying below the 2000ft limit is not allowed without permission (usually for fire fighting, search and rescue type operations).

Even had a chance to go to Harvard back in the day on a full-ride scholarship for law. It's wise to know how law works. Serving my country, fighting in wars, patenting tens of things, clawing my way up from poverty, being a pilot, starting a business, working for NASA, setting world records, etc. is pretty American life if you ask me. I've done pretty well as an American. If you think being American is not knowing science, not knowing the law, being a bafoon, engaging in criminal behavior, and being a woke whiny child, then you must be talking about some other country in the Americas other than the USA.

There is a pint at which too much taxation actually shrinks teh economy and you start bringing in LESS tax revenue than if you taxed people LESS. this is a well understood, well proven, well studied fact. Taxes should be simple and stay below that line at which taxes hurt the economy. There is no need for income tax for example. we have sales tax, every penny will be taxed when it gets spent. Property taxes should never be so overbearing as to force people who are debt free into being forced to sell their home. Taxation on sales of used items makes no sense. Raising taxes on commercial property when a business person is extorting for high sales/rent prices would be a good thing. I propose doubling the property tax every month a commercial property is not being used for commercial purposes. Eventually the owner will have to rent or sell it out as they will end up paying more in taxes than the property is worth. this ensures people are able to get affordable opportunities to develop businesses in places like NYC. There is a county in my state where such extortion pricing is going on and it is killing business in teh entire county, and as a result that county is the most underdeveloped and poorest counties, because all the commercial properties are owned and they are asking something like 3x more than they are worth. But go ahead, sling insults and behave like a child and over simplify reality and beg the gov to be your daddy and take care of you like a child.
