  4.  @joe-s5r  we're serious speaking from personal experience, and backed by research, speed limiters cause accidents and put people at risk. There are times when you need to speed to pass or to get out of the way of an accident. They also cause traffic congestion when two cars can't pass one another on the freeway.

Boeing 737 MAX? speed limiters literally kill people. I was almost killed in the military years ago due to a speed limiter. Many semis are already speed limited years ago, and most trucks ended up removing the the limiters. "And as said already by Steve in the video, speed limiters can be overridden by pressing the accelerator, so needing power is not an excuse. If you need power then it's there. " just like the annoying engine shutoff at stoplights that everyone disables.... Your idealism gets people killed. your idealism will backfire horribly. Law of unintended consequences. In a free country you have no right to worry about my safety on my behalf.

  7.  @SteelHex  Guess it depends upon how it is argued. But I'd never let a noncompete stop me. Depending upon the person's career, it's not reasonable to ask them to abandon their skills for a set time. also, many have argued the noncompete is one-sided. In US, under contract law, you can't enter into contracts that aren't mutually beneficial. And when most employers demand noncompete by default, how can anyone take a different job in their industry? it's simply an unreasonable and one-sided demand that is forced upon employees with no real way to negotiate it.

  20. unfortunately you're in teh exception to the rule for vegans. It's so bad with vegans my default is to treat every vegan as mentally ill, and avoid them. my life is so much off better as a result. Not saying you're mentally ill, but I meet very few vegans who are nice people and who I can have a conversation with. I'm very logical and scientific. Vegans tend to be illogical.

  41. I was taught minimum 3 blinks of the turn signal before lane change, or before hitting the brakes to slow down and turn off. I follow this strictly, hoping that others will see it and be appreciative and realize how nice it is when people actually use their signal BEFORE turning, not AFTER turning.
