Seeing that politician pour his heart out made me almost cry, yeah, I don't doubt there's not a lot of great politicians in Japan but I have never seen a politician speak like that or be frustrated like that in my developing country, they generally always try to keep their cool and be seem as "strong" when what we need is no more lying psychopaths who love to do nothing for the people, but more people like that politician who speak loudly and understand people, obviously if they can at least try to change things it would be even better but I think it is clear nowadays when a politician just talks for votes and who really wants to make a change and is passionate about helping their people

Japanese people imo are afraid of being criticized rather than being cold hearted There's good and bad people in all countries but I hope the good people in Japan start using that group mentality for improving social conditions Though I really think school in one of the biggest aspects to blame in Japan as it is VERY outdated as it has kept a form of education that doesn't work and only traumatize children for life. The way school works and how students are treated really really really need a massive change in mentality and way of teaching students. Schools shouldn't be about making kids afraid of giving their thoughts, of being creative, of being confident, group mentality can be good for mai tai ing peace and to have a mentality of caring for others but schools imo are ruining that and are just making people who are afraid of helping, afraid of being assertive, afraid of being themselves and of seeking help Schools in Japan are affecting their own people heavily and for the worse

I think the key word here is having high expectations for Japan, andnI don't say that in a negative way but rather we need to go to Japan with an open heart, with a sense of adventure and curiosity and not expecting things to go a certain way so we can enjoy more the little things that Japan can offer. Without expectations I think we can enjoy not just Japan but life more

We need to stip this mentality of infinitesimal growth, we cannot grow forever and ever, we should rather focus on balancing populatuons, yes, Japan may not look in 50 years the same as it is now....And? Why should they stay the same for our selfish wishes? That's no good, Japan should do what THEY want to do, bot what the West imposes on them, is that clear?

When I speak to people they believe themselves nowadays to be very "progressive" but it is impressove that her hisband was able to support her more in a country like Japan where there's a lot of sexism rather than us from "progressive " countries to believe that what she does is ok because that's her life and her marriage and we cannot speak for her husband and what she does SHOULDN'T BE SOMWTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF, but seems we are not as "progressive" as we believe we are lmao.   9. Japan reminds me that all countries have problems and no country is perfect It's not about them, it's about us. If you can love others (friends/family/partners) by seeing who they are, I'm sure we can discover beautiful people instead of blaming others. For example, I love living here in Mexico, a lot of people have this idea this is a dangerous couintry, and while they're not wrong haha that doesn't mean everything is bad or that everyone is bad here, that violence is heavy doesn't mean all mexicans are violent (like it is impossible that all japenese don't know about love) thanks to videos like this I can see and accept both the good things abd bad things in my country and still love Mexico with my heart, of course I want us to improve, but I also know there are some things out of my reach and it's a group effort of all of us to fix things for the better Same with Japan, they have a lot of problems, but if I can love a heavily flawed country like mine, I definitely can love Japan for what they are. Doesn't mean I don't want themto see them grow but rather that I grew and can love people and countries / societies for what they are, not for what I want them to be. So I don't think it is a country problem, it may be a difference in valies problen for you. I may sound arrogant but there's a reason generally people around the world likes us mexicans , because we are warm and welcoming and maybe it's not about japanese in this case, but about your own needs, morals and cultural differences from them. Because I know japanese people can love others as kuch as yoiu or me, they just need nore time to get warned to others. To feel safe and secure.

  13. But there's hikikomori around the world, and people shun them away too and we don't talk about them so aren't we in the west doing the same? Look at the statistics for America for example, half of young people feel isolated frok everybody, that's a scary number, I'm not saying japanese don't need to focus on their problems, but we should also focus on our problems, be hukble and not pretend we don't have those kinds of problems, because we do, and we are looking away, that doesn't make us better, we need to do hetter for our people here in the west too.

And finally, really having an open mind about the good and bad of japan, and not to focus on the bad, but on the good side, and see the "bad" stuff as challenges People talk about japan like if it were this alien planet but it's just a normal conolex country as any other. And living as an immigrant in the USA or Canada is notneasy either, I speak as a mexican myself who has seen so many people struggle as immigrants innotherncountries, not just japan

Oddly enough I've learnt this from Japan, there's a lot of pressure but also depends where do you olive, if you live in Tokyo, a highly competitive place yes, people feel cold and rushing through life, but if you see how people live in smaller more rural areas, you'll see nit all japanese people treat ewch other with so kuch pressure, I think the solution is to elicit people to go to more rural, peaceful and natural place within Japan to drop that pressure. Let's remember countries are complex and they're not just one thing or another. They're a mix of everything

Oddly enoigh that has happened to me to....Here in Mexico...With adults, I have had a lot of my mexican people who have told me that I am "Too brown".... or that I smell bad too only due to my skin color....I truly think I would experience less racism in Japan than in Mexico, which is very sad to think that a lot of people from my own country think like that of me
