Japan reminds me that all countries have problems and no country is perfect
It's not about them, it's about us. If you can love others (friends/family/partners) by seeing who they are, I'm sure we can discover beautiful people instead of blaming others.
For example, I love living here in Mexico, a lot of people have this idea this is a dangerous couintry, and while they're not wrong haha that doesn't mean everything is bad or that everyone is bad here, that violence is heavy doesn't mean all mexicans are violent (like it is impossible that all japenese don't know about love) thanks to videos like this I can see and accept both the good things abd bad things in my country and still love Mexico with my heart, of course I want us to improve, but I also know there are some things out of my reach and it's a group effort of all of us to fix things for the better
Same with Japan, they have a lot of problems, but if I can love a heavily flawed country like mine, I definitely can love Japan for what they are. Doesn't mean I don't want themto see them grow but rather that I grew and can love people and countries / societies for what they are, not for what I want them to be.
So I don't think it is a country problem, it may be a difference in valies problen for you. I may sound arrogant but there's a reason generally people around the world likes us mexicans , because we are warm and welcoming and maybe it's not about japanese in this case, but about your own needs, morals and cultural differences from them. Because I know japanese people can love others as kuch as yoiu or me, they just need nore time to get warned to others. To feel safe and secure.

But there's hikikomori around the world, and people shun them away too and we don't talk about them so aren't we in the west doing the same?
Look at the statistics for America for example, half of young people feel isolated frok everybody, that's a scary number, I'm not saying japanese don't need to focus on their problems, but we should also focus on our problems, be hukble and not pretend we don't have those kinds of problems, because we do, and we are looking away, that doesn't make us better, we need to do hetter for our people here in the west too.

@CentauriTT Well, again, before talking, read a little before sounding like an ignorant person....
Japan working hours are less than US working hours, and yes, they can improve, an bro, I am from Mexico, the number 1 country with most working hours, for me, going to Japan would be an improvement....

@agapp11able I'm not telling you're wrong, people on the internet seem to have this obsession with being right and generally have their ego so inflated I know there's no use in convincing them about something different from their perspectives, including you of course.
But seeing and studying cultures and welcoming people ideas I've seen things are not "simple" they are very complex, simple is only used when we don't know about something, when our ignorance doesn't let us see the grey aspects in problems
I don't know why you comment though, I obviously won't be convinced of your opinion (which is not a fact, our opinions are not facts, we are not perfect, we're flawed humans) maybe it is to convince yourself of your "righteousness ".
I want to accept our flaws as humans and go the opposite way the Internet is going towards, that means I wanna be more open minded and empathic instead of obsessing over being "right"
Either way, have a nice day and greetings from Mexico

@agapp11able haha, I'm sorry I wrote a lot, I just don't tend to agree with internet half assed and black and white opinions, I prefer to speak with real life people, I don't mind political discussions, social discussions too like abortion, democracy etc with a person as long as I can see them irl, if not, I don't think is worth "fighting" to see whose right when we don't even know each other
That's my way of living though, you can fight with many others in the internet aside from me
And it's not just you, most people in the internet have this massive ego, thinking they have the right and only opinion while ignoring everything else that doesn't fit their narratives, becoming more ignorant than they think, you're not unique, is something common in the internet
So you can take your sigh and contempt away and be miserable fighting with stangers in other forums, again, greetings from Mexico
