DeSantis (through his board of education) has been pushing the deranged notion that slavery in the US was just another form of unpaid/underpaid internship, and that the lives of slaves were somehow bettered by the institution of slavery. This is but a short stretch from "they came here to steal OUR jobs!" for all the dimwit crackers out there, like the gunman.

You should try changing your name to "Mr Dunning Kruger" .. would be a much better fit. Considering that the US wasn't getting any of its oil through that same pipeline and those same recently-opened federal lands, and considering that fuel demand has gone down since then (not up) your points are, again, and as usual, completely without merit.
