I see a better future outside of this 'bigger' 'stronger' imperialistic culture crushing ideology. I lived through the 1970s and it was not as bad as you want others to think. The very reason people could strike was they felt secure... People no longer feel that way. I don't think a majority of UK voters see the answers in a failing EU led by a staggering drunk.

Is there not an argument that if the UK does not give money to the EU there will be more money available for the NHS? How do you know getting a free trade deal is not possible – because people that want the UK to stay in the EU have said so? Are there not people saying free trade with the EU is possible – why should people not believe this? People were told by the prime minister that a Leave vote would be a vote to leave the single market – are people not allowed this choice? Who is saying we cannot get trade deals with USA and China – is it people that want the UK to stay in the EU? The pound goes up and down and is recovering. Would you invest in the UK after a Brexit vote when the UK government predicted recession if the people voted for Brexit? Did not Scotland have a referendum and decide to be in the UK and then as part of the UK vote for the UK to leave the EU? Didn't everyone know Ireland was two different countries before the vote? How can we make a more informed decision on the future? We were told this was a long-term decision.

  7.  @jakemitchell2134  Democracy has to be about the future as it would not work the other way around. No one knows what the future will be. The question on the ballot just asked if the voter thought the UK should leave the EU - it said nothing about proving the future would be better. The outcome was the majority wanted to leave. What are you going to do if your side loses the next general election - say voters from the wining side did not know what the future is going to be like and refuse to accept the result? Because this is what you are doing now.

  8.  @jakemitchell2134  If the UK stops giving money to the EU there will be more money for the NHS. I fail to see how it can be claimed this is a lie. We had the campaign and both sides were able to make arguments and answer arguments (except when the campaign was suspended and Remain were given the opportunity to associate Leave with murder).

  10.  @jakemitchell2134  Most people voted Remain because the government leaflet told them to - it is now government policy (and opposition policy) to leave the EU. People who were in two minds went for the less disruptive option - we've had the disruption now. There would be widespread loss of confidence in politicians for not accepting the last result - the mood would be - you're saying if we vote Leave again you're not going to accept - so we will to teach you a bigger lesson. The argument would be the UK could never negotiate again with the EU, as the EU would just say - 'what you going to do leave? you tried that once'. I think you're completely deluded as Remain would be humiliated as bad losers... There's not a positive thing about the EU - just fear of leaving - people are not as stupid as you think.

  28. CountJimbo It's people like that are keeping the concept of racism going by insisting those you perceive to be inferior to you need your superior acceptance. There were no lies made by the Leave side, because it's against the law to provide false information as part of an election campaign. The slogan on the bus was investigated by the appropriate authority and was found to be not false information. Had it been "a lie" as you claim, it would have been stopped. The lies and unfairness was on the Remain side. For instance, having the government send a leaflet to every home in the land at a cost of ten million pounds telling taxpayers to vote Remain. This was ten million pounds over the allowed equal spending limit the Leave side was forced to comply with. The real big lie of the campaign, as repeated consistently by politicians and media was that, the EU funded various projects in the UK. This is fiscally impossible (particularly within the context of a referendum to end UK membership of the EU) as the facts show the UK has always funded the EU. Then we had all the bogus 'expert forecasts' that have since had to be revised. And the shameful exploitation of a murdered woman MP for political ends and disgusting insinuation that anyone wanting to regain national sovereignty was somehow a racist. In the end, Leave won because the Remain side had no positive message about the EU... Just elite, establishment threats and scaremongering that, has all turned out to be false, unfair propaganda.

The uniforms worn by members of the Royal Family are of official military appointments. For example Princess Anne holds around thirty military appointments in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand - each of these positions will have a uniform. So, because Princess Anne is Colonel-In-Chief of the Royal Canadian Hussars, she is entitled to wear that regimental uniform.

"He ran away before the trial which strikes me as the actions of a guilty person." Him not attending the trial does not alter the facts. "The boat was defective so to take someone out in a faulty boat says a lot about his attitude." How did any defect contribute to the accident? "His ego was more important than Charlotte Brown's safety. Even if she had been driving the boat he should never have allowed her to knowing it was defective. That boat should not have been used by anyone until it was in full working order." Again, can it be proved there was a defect which would have contributed to the boat hitting a log that was not visible?

I question whether he is responsible for the death on what can be proved. If she was driving and hit a log, how can he be responsible for the consequence of her actions? She was an adult and took a decision to take the controls - she could have slowed down, but instead she went too fast and hit a tree in the water. She was not wearing a life jacket - again her decision. As it turned out these were all bad decisions made when drunk which suggests death by misadventure.

Your argument seems to be that, because it was his boat he is responsible for consequences of another person driving it. This is not the case with a car if the driver is legally entitled to drive the car. A speed boat is like a bicycle in that no licence or certification or insurance is legally required to operate. If he had owned a tandem cycle and they both drunkenly decided to ride along the bank of the Thames with him at the front and they both decided to swap positions and she failed to control the speed, struck an obstacle and accidentally drove into the river. Are you saying if she drowned he would be guilty of manslaughter?
