  1. I never saw such a cry-baby frat-boy liar. He talked about his Dad starting a calendar in the last 70's when he was a kid and then regaling the family with readings from his old calendars. The problem with that is that he was a kid at the time and there were no old calendars ... he had just started writing them. He also lied about drinking, and the comments in his yearbook .... But most of all after supporting the witch-hunt against Clinton, he complains about the same kind of questions he advocated asking Clinton. Kavanaugh is a sleaze who is going to kicked to the curb, and the fake trolls here who all say the same thing cannot vote. Don't be influenced by them.

For one thing, Tweeden, consented to doing the skit. Maybe that is part of it that she feels bad that she let herself being railroaded, but that is another issue. Franked was rude and crude, but we have no heard his side, except for his apology, which Tweeden accepted. Did he repeat the kiss after being scolded? I think that matters, but I don't know if others do. People do dumb things, and sometimes those dumb even hurtful things do not rise to the level of a crime, or even a full moral characterization of someone. Then there was the photo. Again, clearly stupid and rude, and even more so because it still exists? But maybe that is good to prove what happened. It appeared to me that Franken had his hands hovering over Tweedens chest ... not a grab, not a grope, for either of those there must be some kind of contact, no? Plus there is the fact that she was safe under a flak jacket. This is an attack on Al Franken in the same strategy as they attacked Bill Clinton - completely irrelevant to the issue of Roy Moore, Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump ... there is no comparison, and there still is not, because you cannot harass or rape someone over the phone, and these FOX News operatives are piling on for a Conservative political attack, that is all. So. Melody Morgan felt physically intimidated because of a heated political argument ... and that is supposed to be on the level of Trump, Weinstein and Moore, since the first salvo from a the Republican women's brigade did not get Franken to resign???? And Ingram is making up incidents to dump on him, and any sane person gets angry at Republican lies ... the same kind of lies we see from Donald Trump to get elected. Blatant lies. Franken doesn't have the millions and billions of dollars to protect him like these Fox News people. What will not be fine is North Korea, because they will recognize there is no point in making a deal with the US or trusting the US to live up to the deals we sign. It will not be North Korea only, it will be every country in the world that makes any deal with the US and will know the US cannot be trusted if they feel it is against their best interests they will just break any deal. What will this do .... it will jack up the price of oil as tension in the middle east always does, and it will cause tens or hundreds of millions of Americans to spend any tax savings they get and more, or think they are getting from the fake Trump Middle Class Cut to go straight into the pockets of the oil companies. Trying to do both at the same time with Amazon seems like it is working up to be a big fail. Now Amazon is gone and there is nothing there for her to surveil and criticize or inform the public about. There are no win-win opportunities for either side. That is sad, and it is a fail for AOC. It is a big fail, and she needs to get in front of this, own it, and save it. If she can do all that, she then proves that she can learn from it. I wonder if she will get the chance though now?

One thing I can tell you right off is that Amazon cannot built this anywhere. it is more than buildings, it is transportation, commication, culture, employee pool, and lots of other things. So you are way off from the very beginning. Rents are already high in all American cities for many reasons. Why do you think that having Amazon move in somewhere is any different, or significantly different from them or anyone else moving in anywhere? You latched onto Amazon because they have been in the news. What gets in the news these days if often what someone wants to plant as propaganda and since it is the right-wing that owns most of the news outlets, it is a right-wing point of view that we get. Finally, even our view of the Left-wing is mediated in the right-wing news by the right wing. Don't fall or everything you hear.

I have seen a company that sometimes has to be criticized and pushed, but that on the most part is amazing in terms of what it has done, what it started, how fast and cleverly it has moved, and what it has developed that has been great for the average customer. From books, e-books, audio-books, to music, to consumers goods, to food now Amazon has evolved business in favor of the customer. I want to see them do more, but compared to most companies in the US Amazon is much much better. I don't understand all the vilification compared to like WalMart for example.
