When Russia moved into the Eastern part of Ukraine, where mostly Ethnic Russians live, there were being shelling relentlessly for years which killed between the two sides some 40,000 civilians mostly. Maybe Russia did not have a right to move into Ukraine, but no one was responding to Russia negotiations efforts, and the response was increased shelling along the border. It is not really Zelensky's fault, this was all pushed on him by the US, and the US was trying to provoke a war with Russia where it would look like Russia was the aggressor and at fault. Really both sides are to blame, but the history is not known or reported on in the US The propganda story in the US is weak as a wet noodle. The idea that the Russia army is so incompetent and weak they are using donkey-carts to transport their men and materiale while simulataneously being a deadly threat to Europe of taking over the continent? It's ridiculous.

The people who run the country not only are not assisting the citizens, they are stomping them down in most cases because they are afraid of democracy - so they make it too expensive to live - so no time for civic responsiblities, they make it too expensive to get an education, so they keep their oligarch children in power, no health care so citizens get sick and die earlier than oligarchs. They refuse to move in the direction of what America was supposed to be - and they important billionaires and their money to buy up and compete with Americans in land and resources.

  28. I'm voting for Biden ... no way I'd vote Trump, Republican, or 3rd party. BUT ... I am not happy about 1. Inflation is killing me on a fixed income, and a lot of other people too. 2. The unnecessary war in Ukraine - who knows how much that has cost. 3. If we want to spend money on war - the best bang for the buck would be Israel. 4. I also want immigration slowed down and managed. These issues are huge. I do appreciate what Biden has done, and mostly appreciate he is not Trump, but if he cannot get some of this stuff done batting it back and forth between Biden and Trump and constantly hearing the nonsense in the new is driving Americans crazy. Carville and most Democratic spokespeople are just not as effective on the "Left" as the many Trump spokespeople and News Networks are on the "Right". Biden is so uncharismatic he is a target. Me, I don't care if a President is charismatic, or a nice guy - I want a competent President. Our system has massive flaws because we change our governments so regularly - it gives the dictators and autocrats an advantage, and we need to devise a strategy to counter that advantage.

  49. I don't like Trump and would not vote for him under any circumstances. BUT, many Americans including myself believe that it is not right to have all these rights and services for ILLEGAL, or UNDOCUMENTED residents of this country. I am open to any information and argument, but I've really heard very little reason to provide jobs, school, voting rights, etc. The exception is health care if someone is undocumented and hurt or sick it is inhumane not to provide help for them while they are being processed. I don't like this idea of rounding up these people, putting them in some central holding location and then spending the time and money and judicial effort to deport them - that is a huge expense with very little return on investment, and I don't believe Trump would really do that or could really do that anyway. Start small like the bi-partisan border bill. Then enforce the citizenship requirement for working here, like an SS card/number. Democrats are losing on this issue when all they really have to do is to make an effort and share a vision for an endpoint of border and citzens security. All these crap stories about illegal immigrants being criminals is simply Trump's racist dog-whistles to get elected. Democrats are not making much of an effort on anything except calling Trump names ... and we all know what Trump is by now.

But he knew he was too old, and he dodged interviews and ran anyway - talk about ego???? Biden ruined the Democratic Party's chance to take back the government and get some actual legislation done.
