We will both put up £1000 or the $ equivalent thereof to a trusted third party like the Church of England. We then get secular & non secular experts in the respect fields covered to look at the evidence presented in the bible & by science to ascertain, on the preponderance of evidence, which side has the most validity & provable FACT behind it. I have contacts in academia both theists & non theist who can assist in this. The loser then forfeits their ante to charities in Africa who help homosexual people who have been terribly burnt & mutilated in the name of your god for the "sin" of having a different sexual orientation. Any refusal to do this will indicate an INSTANT acceptance that the refusing side was palpably wrong & an appropriate apology then issued. How does that sound? I will keep posting this reply on a daily basis should you not reply thereby indicating that you are talking shit & running scared!

  16. Antonio Padro The problem you've got is that Hovind is a convicted fraudster & trickster without a SHREAD of credible scientific evidence behind any of his claims! He is against the WHOLE of conventional science with a phalanx of proven facts & data behind them. Arron Ra also does a very good series on the myth of the Flood story. For questioning your faith generally I would say checkout The Austin Atheist Experience Really great show run by former theists who take calls from people like you. The main host Matt Dillahunty was a Southern Baptist for 25 years & training to be a minister. Not only is the show educational it is always highly entertaining. It's your life & your faith if you are happy with it stay with religion. It makes no odds to me but just seeking the truth doesn't make you a bad or less moral person just better informed.

You, like all religions, have a book so full of factual holes you could stain peas with it! LOOK at what is actually stated in the bible - 6500 year old flat snow dome earths with windows in to let the rain in, dust men & rib women, everything alive today coming off a boat 4500 yards ago piloted by a 600 year old man? A god so incompetent he has to go around destroying everything he supposedly creates & is terrified of "iron chariots?" We see exactly what we expect to see a primitive man made book of nonsense plagerised from far earlier belief systems. Give me ACTUAL meaningful evidence of a god, the same as I could for Stephen Hawkins, not wishful & discredited mumbo jumbo!

Things might have tightened up a it over the last 10 -15 years but back in the day, when most of these started claiming, all you had to do was to get yourself down the quacks with a nebulous condition like the ubiquitous "bad back" or "depression" & you were away! If that didn't work start throwing stuff around a demure Asians doctors surgery, they'd sign anything to get you out the door.
