  1. I like this guy. Too bad more Americans won't view his videos and listen to them. Joe is worried about limiting commerce? Really while Twitter, Facebook and YouTube are censoring people they disagree with. Joe know why they are doing that? For commerce. Isn't commerce what sold people on tobacco, because actually tobacco built the USA and for years big tobacco ruled the congress. Today it's Walmart and big pharma and petroleum. We need to protect their speech but not that of alternative voices on the internet? We can have laws that limit commercial advertising I grew up when there were no pharmaceutical ads, and lawyer ads. Tell you what it was a great time to be alive.

  3. I think it started with the offshoring of jobs in the 90s. Kids then had to focus on SATs from preschool on and no longer chose their fields of study based on their skills and interests, but on how much money they could make. At the same time tv was inundated with reality programming based on voting the other guy off the island. Then came social media in the 2000s and bullying became so much easier. Give middle schoolers flip phones until High School. You don't let kids drive until they are 16.

  6. I am still criticizing him for his handling of PGE. All that had to be done was: Tell people to wash their hands more often. Stay home when sick. and Avoid crowds. That's all that was ever necessary. All that was ever done during the polio epidemic. And we survived damn it! Without all this bullshit.

  7. The older I get the less I want to live forever. At seven I would have said forever, and at forty maybe another 100 years. At sixty nine 10 to 20 years seems like more than enough, especially if I have to deal with the youth.

  8. No gambling I think is about the hope that they will score eventually. Not self hatred. It's a hope they can overcome their situation, like any other addiction. I think when people go "postal" in mass shooting situations happens in pure desperation when they realize there is no hope of anything better.

  10. I still chuckle when I think of how Trump took out Rubio, Jeb Bush and Cruz: It was pure entertainment. We'd never seen anything like it before! I am totally done with the democratic party. I will never vote democrat again.

  11. These kids didn't have to go to school out of state. I worked my way through school, and did my undergraduate work at a local community college for a fraction of the price of doing the first two years at a four year institution. There are no guaranteed jobs unless your dad owns the company. And not everyone needs an MBA. Know I didn't.

  20. My "grandma great" lived to be 103. Every thing was good except the last three years when my grandparents put her in a home. She'd had enough after that. She went to the county fair and danced when she was 101. After she was put in the home she had nothing to dance about.
