Kudos to Morris for including lyrics of Rocket Man as chapter titles. Brilliant!

Suggestion: African American crime bosses of the 1920's and 1930's. Two films have been made about this subject. "Harlem" and "Kansas City".
11
Another awesome episode! I've been learning so much from the Whistleverse videos about WW2. Keep up the fantastic work Blazement "guests"!
11
I was born towards the end of the Eisenhower era. My parents, however, grew up during the Eisenhower era, including his war years.

Whenever your videos are sponsored by The Blaze, you should say something like, "Today's video is brought to you by me, your Boi from Da Blaze."

Well done! Still receiving death threats in the 1970's. Petty, and cowardly! The fight for equality continues, though it's the 21st century now. Hopefully, my grandchildren's grandchildren will live in a better world.
10
More intrigue than an entire season of Game Of Thrones.

My best April Fool's prank: telling my teenage son that me and his ex-stepfather had decided to get back together. My son's reaction: "That's not funny Mom!" Ironically, I had met the guy on April Fool's Day originally.
10
Suggestion: The Menendez Brothers.
10
The first of the 27 Club.

Again, your writers are awesome!✍️✍️✍️✍️

I suggested this subject a while back. Thank you for finally presenting it.🤗

Had a feeling it was a joke, just like Sherlock Holmes last year. Not mad at ya though! ;)

From watching Simon's channels I am getting a college level education.🧑🎓🧑🎓🧑🎓🧑🎓

Hef was definitely the coolest dude ever. One cool thing he did was pay for the wedding and honeymoon for one of his ex-girlfriends from his reality show. Hef took millions of young men from boyhood to manhood.
8
Once again I'm impressed by the animated photos.
8
Revolver was the only Beatles album that was lead off with a George Harrison composition: Taxman. Sir George Martin finally expressed regret for not being more supportive of George's music during his time with the Beatles.
8
Ivan Pavlov: Nobel Prize winner and troller of the Communist Party. "Chronic Experiments" sounds like it could be a follow up album to one of Snoop Dogg's famous musical offerings. "Oh, when you call my name, I salivate like a Pavlov Dog."- Sir Michael Jagger.
8
They need to make a movie about this guy. Oh, wait...... I can just hear Jeremy from Cinemasins say, "Roll credits!" every time Simon says "the Last Emperor". 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉

The UK has Elizabeth. We in the US have Betty. Both long reigning queens.
7
I've been waiting for this one! I named my cat with a penchant for escaping out the front door Houdini. ⛓️⛓️⛓️⛓️⛓️⛓️
7
Black Death Video. San Andreas Fault Video. Both on the same day. Simon, you are a ray of sunshine.☀️ ALLEDGELY!⛈️

Well done Simon & Co. Dean's famous line from Rebel Without A Cause, "You're tearing me apart!" has been reused in TV shows and cartoons. I don't think young kids watching the cartoon in which that line was uttered even got the reference. Oh, the cartoon was Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius. The character Carl Wheezer said the iconic Dean line, not word for word, but, I could tell where the writers got their inspiration.
6
Dictator Diaz, emphasis on the first syllable.
6
I am learning SO MUCH from this channel! 🔬💉⚗️
6
Things weren't looking too sunny in Philadelphia for the Continental Army. I saw what you did there!😉
6
It amused me to see Alice Cooper holding a bottle of poison throughout this video. When I was a kid in the seventies, the razor blade in the apple urban legend was wide spread throughout my neighborhood. Another urban legend was that someone would heat up pennies in a skillet then hand them out to kids.
6
Such an interesting life! Why has a Mel Fisher biopic not been made yet?
6
A million bucks in 1914 money was like a king's ransom. Then one could buy milk and bread for mere pennies.
6
Betty and Allen were the second TV power couple, after Lucy and Desi.
6
Hey, I requested Sidney Poitier months ago! Thank you Simon & Co.!
5
"You don't mess with Eliot Ness!"
5
I've been waiting for this since I requested it last year. Thank you Simon & Co.!
5
Thank you Simon and Co. for using my suggestion.

Suggestions: Richard Pryor Hattie McDaniel Mel Blanc June Foray Chuck Jones Duke Ellington Diana Spencer Cesar Chavez Jackie Kennedy Onasis Walter Cronkite Desi Arnaz Johnny Carson Louie Armstrong Billie Holiday Redd Foxx Selena Quintanilla Little Richard Chuck Berry George Harrison Sir George Martin
5
Thank you for the Moe Greene reference, even though you've never actually watched The Godfather.
5
One thing Nixon did: appeared on the comedy variety show Laugh-In, saying the catch phrase "Sock It To Me" as a question. Apparently, then man didn't mind humor directed towards himself.
5
Watching this was like watching The Godfather. Many of the incidents in this video popped up in that film.
5
So, who did it better, Simon or Steve Martin?
5
Matthew Henson looked very dashing in his Artic exploring garb.
5
Suggestions: Desi Arnaz. Alfred Hitchcock. Sammy Davis, Jr. Lena Horne. Redd Foxx. John Belushi. Dick Clark. Rod Serling. Jim Henson. Don Cornelius. Elizabeth Taylor.
4
Psycho is one of my top ten all time favorite movies.🎻🚿🔪
4
I remember Dan White's trial and the infamous "Twinkie Defense". Dan White may have extinguished Harvey Milk's flame, but the result was creating a beacon of hope for all the citizens of San Francisco.
4
The alleged "bigger than U.S. Steel" quote appeared in a film that Simon's never watched, The Godfather 2.
4
When you learn American history from a Brit.😉🇬🇧
4
Suggestion: Joseph Kennedy, Jr., the man who would have been President.
4
George Carlin is part of my childhood. I watched him on my favorite shows Laugh In and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour back in the 60's and 70's. Imagine my surprise surprise when while watching Shining Time Station with my son in the 90's, I saw him again as the child friendly Mister Conductor. George Carlin was one of the most intelligent stand-up comedians of all time.
4
Thank you for fulfilling my long ago request! Not only are you giving your viewers an education in American history, but you also are receiving an education, college level at that. I'm sure that somewhere some educational institution is using Biographics as part of its curriculum. Keep up the good work everyone who's part of this channel.
4
Two Brits who'll survive almost everything: Keith Richards and HRH Elizabeth II.
4
Suggestion: Henry Kissinger, FINALLY!
