  23. Well done Simon & Co. Dean's famous line from Rebel Without A Cause, "You're tearing me apart!" has been reused in TV shows and cartoons. I don't think young kids watching the cartoon in which that line was uttered even got the reference. Oh, the cartoon was Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius. The character Carl Wheezer said the iconic Dean line, not word for word, but, I could tell where the writers got their inspiration.

When I was a kid in the seventies, the razor blade in the apple urban legend was wide spread throughout my neighborhood.   47. George Carlin is part of my childhood. I watched him on my favorite shows Laugh In and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour back in the 60's and 70's. Imagine my surprise surprise when while watching Shining Time Station with my son in the 90's, I saw him again as the child friendly Mister Conductor. George Carlin was one of the most intelligent stand-up comedians of all time.
