@marksimons8861 no but batteries do & chips control the batteries. Think please.

Why does Kier Starmer support this mayhem with our money? When will he be held to account?
96
@sw1000xg I don't think you understand how governance works in this country -- getting into power has to happen before any governing can happen. I don't know if it's different where you come from?
66
1:19 I saw a clear acknowledgment but the King cannot apologize because Parliament has been sovereign since 1649 so any apologies must come from Parliament.
46
@shade38211 which side do you want quotes from? Palestine has a much wider selection of personal stories because they have been disarmed for more than a century while Zionists & Israel have been supplied with arms by many Western countries throughout that period.
33
@miyahtallulahbusiness taxes are already too low, they already don't pay for the infrastructure they use & your "free ride" nonsense is just that, nonsense. 😮
29
@skindred1888 the Lords are accountable, it's just that they tend to behave responsibly so we don't see the censure
28
@dmoney8602 so what's your contribution?
27
This IS "a very brutal conflict" & has been for well over a century.
26
"balanced"?!? when the whole show was about one eighth of the Chamber & spent no more than seconds on what the Chamber actually does? No, this was about ratings not about facts
23
@DavidZ4-gg3dm attitudes towards Gazans translates into attitudes towards people everywhere, including in their own constituencies.
20
@elijaheskin1 this is a news channel, please don't lie here.
19
Do you honestly & genuinely think that giving the hostages back would make the slightest difference? 😮 They've already done that! They gave half the hostages back & were going to give more but ísrel started bombing again!
19
That's Jehovah's Witnesses not Muslims!
19
@Jac K the situation is bad enough without you trolling
18
@jeanlockley2911 because the Government broke the law by denying them passage on ferries or aircraft.
17
@miyahtallulahyou're right, money doesn't grow on trees, it grows in banks! 😂😂😂
16
@monkeymox2544 the hereditaries & bishops don't automatically get seats, 92 seats are available for hereditaries & I think 26 available for bishops. The hereditaries are elected from a pool of 810 Peers of the Realm & bishops from however many thousands of the Church of England & if enough aren't elected the seats aren't filled (I don't think it's happened for long but it's theoretically possible). They're all there on merit.
16
4:26 it's not in food production! We can see it, it's fallow! Ok, it's tricky putting row-crops under solar panels (tricky, not impossible) but there is absolutely no problem putting grazing animals under them!
14
Find out what really happened, without the lies that have obviously snared you.
13
@doubledip93 his relative hasn't been saved
13
one of the best singers the world has seen, his folk singing is amazing :-)
13
Me too but that's not what's happening, they're offering up to a 25% investment, not even a controlling stake 😢 Should have voted Green, their offer works.
12
That country collapsed in 1989, please keep up.
11
Fully ¾ of the atrocities on Oct 7th a year ago were committed by IDF, now a year after 100% of the atrocities are committed by IDF & have been for a full year.
11
@hello1236096 the key word is viable, Israel never offered a viable independent State. They didn't offer much independence either.
10
no lack of agreement on that.
10
90% of cars won't be affected by it (my 11 year old car won't), it's the ancient gas guzzlers that don't get driven much anyway that will be affected.
10
@MCDONALD6969 people are being increasingly required to not only not eat their favourite food but not eat any food & also be homeless.
10
Channel4's coverage isn't unbiased but it's definitely the best of the mainstream. You might appreciate Aljazeera's coverage too, they're currently publishing on the history as well as the current situation & they have reporters on scene, reporters who have been there many years.
10
This has to be related to ísrael's war against the Middle East & it's dragging in their "allies".
9
@tippyb8355 that's one way of getting peace in the region.
9
it's time this waste-of-space government was sacked
9
0:10 is that Tony & Cherie Blair in the middle of the crowd grinning like idiots? Would you care to explain what they were doing?
9
23:52 this was an extremely distasteful point to interrupt, as is shown 39 seconds later in the interview. What do you think "waiting for his destiny" means? The courage shown by this woman is incredible.
9
8:01 liar! Your end goal isn't peace, it's Armageddon!
9
What's that got to do with it? ...apart from demonstrating just how lawless, stupid & short-sighted as well as mean-spirited & even vindictive the Torys are
8
Your conclusion is correct but this government won't be doing it either, for that we needed the Greens.
8
@luisfigointer the lettuce won!
8
@blanamaxima I assume that's an attempt at humour?
8
In 1948 3 groups of medical practitioners refused to join the then-new NHS -- opticians, GPs & dentists. The vast majority still haven't joined, some offer their services on a contract basis. People have consistently voted in right-wing governments since 1979 so the opportunity to address the problem vanished. #VoteWisely in future, please.
8
@patrikvavro1611 the recently-passed Health and Care Act promotes USA-style for-profit 'healthcare', if a majority of Torys didn't support it it would still be mired in amendments & might even have been thrown out.
8
you're thinking X-rays metal detectors or MRI scans? Yes, they're routinely used at airports. There is absolutely no reason the police can't use them.
8
USA not America, America is the continent
7
@zeik04 no, Palestinians seek help wherever they can get it & since Israel is the product of the British Empire & of USA Russia is the most likely source of help.
7
@julianshepherd2038 let's hope so though last time it cemented them in place for 40 years if you include "more Tory than the Torys" Blair. When people are struggling the natural inclination is to head Right politically even though that's straight into the jaws of death. It's often how right-wing dictatorships start :-(
7
Why am I not surprised? Sack the Torys & call a General Election!
7
@johncraske no, the vast majority are completely willing to pay for it provided they can see what they're paying for & aren't seeing vast sums "spaffed up the wall".
7
Hamas was formed in 1987, this "war" arrived in Palestine a century earlier! 😮
7
70-odd years! They've always hated it. They sort-of tolerated it before Thatcher but she went straight to it chipping bits off, she sold off cleaning, catering & porters, now there's MRSA, inadequate meals & patients waiting hours to be moved. Every hospital had convalescent homes, even before the NHS, to prevent 'bed blocking', now they're all gone. More bits are sold off & extra layers of management added all the time, it's now an incredibly expensive mess when it used to be a beautifully streamlined machine.
