  2. I went to UCLA at the same time, and the only class that was required to graduate, no alternatives, was sociology. It was easy, but very Marxist. A weekly study session, with a TA, was required, and it was essentially a Marxist indoctrination session. Having won a number of debating trophies i HS, I was better equipped to make my case, against Marxism, than the TA was, for it. Several times, after being made a fool, he ran from the room, screaming invectives. I found out later, he tried to have me flunked out, but the professor was so impressed, he actually gave me an A+. One can fight back.

And it disgusting to expect others to pretend reality isn't real. Sure, certain basidiomycetes have 4 sexes, but mammals only have two, and humans are mammals. Sure, certain fish can change their sex, but mammals cannot.

  14. I was a nerdy girl, who developed early. Most of my friends were boys, because we had similar interests. My suddenly womanly body confused us all. I hated puberty. I'm sure, if I'd gone through this today, someone would have tried to convince me I was in the wrong body. Just because a girl likes computers more than she likes makeup, doesn't make her a boy.

  20. I first worked on neural networks (AI) in the early 1990s. Even then we knew that the most important aspect of how well what you were designing worked was the dataset used to train with. Despite the advances in hardware, that allow modern AI to work so well, that fact has not changed. If the "woke" change the training input, so it no longer is representative of reality, of course you're going to get an irrational, delusional result.

  25. This whole convincing girls, with preferences for things considered masculine, that they are in the wrong body really bothers me. Both my younger daughter and I are rather autistic. We both tend to focus more on things than people, which is the wellspring of our creativity. She is an amazing artist and I was a very innovative computer programmer. If either of us were going through puberty today, I'm sure we'd be pressured to 'transition', which leaves a person infertile. I'm sure part of what produces creative people is genetic, and if we neuter all creative people, what a dull and static world will result.

I became enraged about this, in 2002, when my daughter came home from High School, telling me how one of her friends had been raped by a boy, who identified as a girl, so was allowed to use the girl's restroom. Later, we found out there were three other girls, who'd he also raped, but were too ashamed to admit it.

I had read the HTML white paper, and it was a lot like printer markup languages, so it was fairly easy for me, using emacs. This impressed the aging Rebbe, and I got to meet him shortly before he died. He was a remarkable man, extremely kind and intelligent, and so approachable even though I'm just a Conservative Jew.

  50. No, your experience was with a live donor. This is about harvesting organs from the dead. That should be opt in. My state has opt out on our driver's license, and I know too many people who didn't realize they had to opt out, and then had to go through a lot of hassle, at the DMV, to change it so they wouldn't be an organ donor. Having seen corpses kept on life support for days, waiting to be harvested, I'd never be an organ donor. Also, you don't know if your organs will be used to save lives, or be put to other purposes.
