  16. Don't blame the parents for incompetent teachers. I just checked, and no, you don't need a MA, just pass the teacher's license test. Judging by the morons, my kids had for teachers, it doesn't take much. My girls both got A's in math and chemistry, not because their teacher could teach, but because I tutored them. The kids are failing because teaching only draws the worst students, the ones who can't do anything else. They don't deserve the salaries they get. Instead of employing education majors, schools should hire people who actually have degrees in the field they are teaching in.

  17. In my case, oxycontin allowed me to sleep, when the pain resulting from chemotherapy got too extreme. My prescription was only for 10 mg, and I used it sparingly. I had terrible neuropathy, from one chemo drug, that I cured with a simple amino acid. And when the neuropathy was over, I stopped using oxycontin cold turkey, without any problems. It is just a matter of will power. Some people have it, others don't.

I used to write the code that ran electric motor controllers, and they have a lot more torque than internal combustion engines, especially if you up the number of phases. Perhaps where this dude lives, there aren't enough charging stations, but where I live, Oregon, and where I've traveled, Israel, they are all over the place, Plus, homeowners just put a charger in their home. My neighbors installed solar panels, and all their massive SUVS are plug-in electric. The sun fuels their cars for free. A lot of power - gratis.

Over the decades, the birds have changed their migratory routes, so that the fly over the relative safety Israel gives them.

Also, the most cost effective way to prevent disease, is vaccination, and Kennedy is insane about all vaccinations.
