  6. Americans are not smiling. We've committed to $5.3 billion for weapons to aid Ukraine, and another $1.7 billion in medical aid to Ukraine. This at a time when we are seeing the worst inflation in 40 years. Housing costs are so high, we have half a million homeless. The US is tired of being the world's piggy bank, when other countries have a much better safety net for their citizens, than we do.

  8. While most cases have been found in gay men, that is because they are the only group who is being routinely tested. If they started testing the general public, whenever someone shows symptoms, they'd find a lot more cases. All it takes is contact with the fluid from and infected vesicle, which are most commonly found on the hands and face, or contact with a object, that came into contact with said fluid.

  9. Prior to 2008, the Supreme Court interpreted the second amendment to only require the military to be armed. But, with the Heller case, that right was wrongfully extended to the individual. Also, there was a ban on assault rifles from 1994 to 2004. While it was in place, there were much fewer mass shootings.

That gene product (protein) is administered with a saponin based adjuvant. It does not contain PEG. So, I guess you might have a problem if you're allergic to soap.

  32. Because as the human population expands, we expand the boundaries of human habitation into new lands, we will continue to bump into viruses, that previously infected only animals. Look at all the emergent zoonotic diseases of the last several decades, Marburg, Dengue, HIV, Zika, SARS, MERS, etc. Who is the culprit? The animals, whose territories we've invaded, or us, the human race? Rather than look for a culprit, we just need to respond more sanely, and use whatever means we have, to control outbreaks.
