I just returned from spending a couple of months in Israel. There are lots of Russians now, more than I ever remember seeing. Several times, when buying something at the Sufersal or Superpharm, the cashier just assumed I spoke Russian. Several times a guy, on his phone, would grab me, and ask me if I could translate Russian for him (in Hebrew of course). They are buying a lot of properties in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Be'er Sheva and Kiryat Gat. I guess, it was time to get out of Russia while they could. One plus, they are so obnoxious, they make Americans look good in comparison.

This is absurd. If snapchat wants to ban the use of the "f" word, or a finger gesture, that is their business. But, as this happened off school grounds, the school should have no say what so ever. It is quite possible this young woman has a legitimate complaint, that there is a double standard. She should be allowed the relatively safe outlet, that social media provides, to voice that complaint. If young people's right to state a grievance is removed from them, that causes pent up frustration, which can result in self harm, or harm to others. The school's energy would be better spent stopping bullying, and unequal treatment of less popular students.

What he did wasn't embellish his resume. That's when you say you were in the top 10% of your graduating class, when you really were in the top 25%. Or if you claim to have a masters, but were a couple of credits short. Or saying you went to MIT, when you really graduated from Boston College, and only took a few classes at MIT. Saying you have a masters from a prestigious university, when you never attended any college, is out and out lying. Claiming you worked for companies, who never met you, when you never worked in the field, is lying. Saying that your grandparents fled the Holocaust, when they were Catholics born in Brazil, is lying. Saying you own numerous properties, when you were evicted from any place you'd rented, and live in your sister's house, is lying.
