  16. There were about 17,250 murders last year in the US. He has a dozen or so people who claim their child was killed by illegal aliens over an unknown number of years. Of those 17,250 murders last year approximately 14,800 were killed with guns. Obviously, if you want to bring down murders in the US, it would be far more effective to address those killed with guns, than the handful killed by illegal aliens. In Canada, people with a history of domestic violence may not own a gun. Let's start there, rather than this moronic wall.

When Erdogan wanted to kill the Kurds, who were fighting Da'ash, and protecting the Syrian people, Trump gave him the go-ahead, and withdrew our support of the Kurds. And when Congress voted to give aid to Ukraine, Trump illegally held that aid up, in an attempt to force them to slander Trump's most likely political opponent. Who was helped by that withholding of aid to Ukraine? Putin, the man Trump fawned over.

  18. Spoke to my daughter today. Her second boy is almost three months old. I asked if she had heard about the formula shortage. She said she was so happy she was breastfeeding, and didn't have to face it. But, she had a friend who has a nine month old, and decided to wean him last month, and now is scrambling, and wishing she'd kept breastfeeding until her baby was a year old. When my girls were babies, I pumped my extra and donated it to the local hospital, for the premies. My daughter says she might sell her extra, or give it to her friend. Moms, who can't find formula, might be able to locate a generous mother, who didn't wean too soon, to buy breastmilk from.

  27. What is weird is, even in states where cannabis is totally legal, companies still test employees for cannabis use. If you aren't impaired at work, how is it any of their concern? I'm in the 55+ category, use cannabis where it is legal, and have never smoked a cigarette. I went through chemotherapy ten years ago, and found cannabis much better, to deal with the pain and nausea, than the damned opiates my oncologist prescribed.

We hated tutoring the nursing students because they were so blindingly stupid. This RN just proves that point.   42. Kentucky didn't make voting safer during the pandemic, because those in power knew, if everyone could vote, they'd be out of a job. Kentucky did not allow no excuse absentee ballots. The precinct that was most heavily black, had only one polling place, and it closed at 6 pm. Other precincts had several polling places, that stayed open much later. Mitch doesn't want any bill, that assures all citizens the right to vote, to pass, because it will mean the end of his power in Kentucky.

  46. If Pence truly were a moral man, he would have never accepted Trump's invitation to be VP. Even a cursory perusal, of Trump's personal history prior to 2015, showed he is a venile man prone to cheating, banks, to get into college, on his taxes, on his business associates, and on his wife. His business dealings were very shady, including money laundering. He defaulted on loans and business obligations (like paying contractors) regularly. Trump even boasted that cheating is smart. That Pence, a man who cloaks himself in Christian piety, could debase himself, to associate with such an odious man, was always hard to comprehend.
