  49.  @Shapinator721  Ukraine is low lands used across the century's as a pathway to invade Russia. Low flying cruise missiles could reach the Kremlin in minutes without been detected in time. Only Ukraine has such geography and thus NATO missiles in Ukraine pose an existential threat to the Russian state and Russia would go nuclear (just like Americans threatened Cuba and the Soviets at the past) to prevent such a threat to materialize. As simple as that.
